Today I got to observe users interact with and evaluate some feature ideas that I had come up with for the next Mac Office. It got me thinking.. how valuable is our user feedback? Sometimes it's obvious that the user is just giving responses to satisfy the interviewer. What do you do in this case? The user's already been told that we want their honest feedback.. there's no wrong answer.. tell us if the idea sucks.. etc.. then we're left with skewed user data and can we honestly make business decisions based on this??? hmm... something to think about and question..
What's on this weekend? I'm bumming around. I'm exploring Seattle tomorrow, watching "Saved", rock climbing sunday and going to my last darkroom class.. woo hoo!
