One of Yeat's original Abbbey Theatre actors, JA O'Rourke was a distinguished theater actor of the early 20th Century. Starring in 'Kathleen ni Houlihan' in 1904, O'Rourke later toured the US during the Abbey Theatre's first tour in 1914. The photo at left is from another US tour, circa 1935, two years before the actors death. |
