- DRAGONLORD-*Rapture* (Spitfire)-This is the project of TESTAMENT guitarist Eric Peterson and I will say this blew my mind upon first listen. And second listen also. European dark metal sounding in the same style as DIMMU BORGIR and CRADLE OF FILTH (with the occasional TESTAMENT riff thrown in for good measure). Eric, who also does all the vocals, steps away from the TESTAMENT family rocking from song to song with speed guitars, dark keyboards and an incredible rhythm section (Steve DiGiorgio on bass-need I say more) to produce what could very well be THE album of the year. - ESTUARY OF CALAMITY-*The Sentencing*-ESTUARY OF CALAMITY's seven-song CD combines European Dark Metal, death metal, and even what sounds like renaissance classical to create a dark sound rarely found this good in the United States. Fans of DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH, and/or MOONSPELL should grab a copy immediately because this CD kicks ass. This band sounds as good songwise, and as professional as any band I have heard doing this genre of music. There is no reason at all that they have not already been signed. Given good distribution, ESTUARY OF CALAMITY would make a huge impact on the international scene. Labels take notice immediately and fans grab a copy before they become megahuge. Contact them at 7321 Hickman St., Cincinnati, OH 45231 USA or email the band at eoc77@yahoo.com. Check out the ESTUARY OF CALAMITY website at http://www.geocities.com/estuaryofcalamity-Chris Lee
