• JACOB'S DREAM-*Theater of War* (Metal Blade)-The new one from JACOB'S DREAM sees the band take a slightly heavier approach yet still keeping it within the power metal genre of music. QUEENSRYCHE, Ray Adler-era FATES WARNING, and DREAM THEATER all come to mind when listening to JACOB'S DREAM. High octave vocals, precision guitar work, and a tight rhythm section are all here. Being a big fan of power metal, I can say that this CD rocks and hopefully this will get the push it deserves from Metal Blade and move JACOB's DREAM up the music ladder deeper into the eyes of the public.
