Here are some films that I recently watched that you might or might not want to check out!!!
I Spit In Your Grave - I remember watching this when I was in high school, probably 1986 or 87. This is a rape and vengeance film. Set in a quiet town in a province like environment, a young lady writer settles in, well, of course to write a book. And the 3 thugs of that town and another mentally challenged delivery man had viciously assualted the lady writer.. but they asked the mentally challenged guy to kill the woman and he did not.. and thus, the woman takes the law in her hand. This film is very graphic especially the violent rape scene & the acts of vengeance. But isn't that what you want? The thing here is that the woman never tried to sue or report the incident to the cops, it just that she decided to avenge her suffering. She even had sex with two of them before killing them, the mentally challenged man whom she hanged in a tree & the master mind whom she cut the penis & left him lock in the bath to bleed to death. For adult viewers only!!!
Demons - Basically a somewhat typical film of this horror, shock, zombie demons eating the living style in a trapped place say a home, a school, here it is a cinema house, but then again, this is an old movie & what probably make this better to other in metal sense is that metal songs are actually used as soundtracks in the movies, like Accept's "Fast as a shark" used in a chasing scene & more.... for the story, it is just a bunch of people trapped in an old cinema where a movie about a demon is being premiered, but, what is being shown slowly becomes reality... and so, the dead, zombied & possessed chases the living around the cinema..so how does it end... watch it!
Faces Of Death Volume 1, 2, 3 & 4 - There is a warning in the sleeve that say's "If the brutal and explicit depiction of actual death is upsetting to you, please do not view these programs". Well, that about says it all as everything here is a depiction of death in so many bloody ways, not only for humans but also for animals. This is gore yet shown in a medical or documentary way. This is reality! Brutal as fuck!! and if you heard Impetigo before you saw this film, you will say. "Aaarrrgghh, I heard that from Impetigo!" he he he...
Dark Water - A new film that has a better horror feel than what I've saw in the recent years, although not totally horror as in scared scream kind of way but in a gloomy atmosphere way. Maybe because of the supernatural topic, that is, it is about Ghost. Beautiful Jennifer Connely, who plays the woman who has some ugly experiences in her childhood with regard to her mother. With her marriage falling apart & cutody battle for her daughter, her encounter with the child ghost seems all just psychological insanity. But as she begin to face the reality of the super natural she has to make a final decision, for the sake of her daughter. A good story, not just chase & bite shit, and a bit lonely too. It's like a child seeking for a mother & a mother wanting to give her child all & not become like her own mother. Imagine, you & your child in a room, & death arrives telling he needs to take one of you but you will choose, will you let death take your child or you???
