The brood is the children of hate which follows the commands of their mother to kill, kill & kill! Born of unnatural way, outside the womb of the body. Never grows old! It manifest all of your hate! And it all began of this form of psycho therapy... anyway, this is suspense thriller with psycho shit stuff!

FUDOH, THE NEW GENERATION - Japanese Film (subtitled in English) - by Takashi Miike - Samurai Movie or a Yakuza movie? Both!!! What will you do to appease the anger of the godfather or your fellow gangster tank 'coz your son fucked up? Cut a finger? Lose an ear? Or sacrifice a loved one head? To found out, see this movie! Internal struggle within a gang & family struggle of the gangsters involved. Samurai beheading, violence & nudity! What more do you want?

 ALTERED STATE - by Ken Russel - This is a man's conquest for the innate question with is us! Where did we came from? Who are we? Where are we going? Is there a God? and probably so many things... with those questions a scientist searching & found a way to go back in previous time under controlled environment. Although perceived as a  psycho-trip in the unconscious, it bore physical evidence on the body. While under the trance. the body changes into its proper state as to the time the psyche journeyed. And thus exhibit its altered state. So the scientist pushed further, into the beginning of everything.. into nothingness.... and found what he is looking for... nothingness??? Watch this movie, it has religious, social & psychological topics which are good points for arguments.. especially in your drunken states! he he he

GARDEN OF EVIL - 1999 - English -  by  James D.R. Hickox - Does the title scare you already? This is not very horror filled though! A mild of it with suspense. This is about a rich gardener or landscaper or what ever is he called who seems to win a lot of awards for growing plants. Many are envious about him and reporters are asking him what is his secret.. but soon a police woman shall found out... as she is looking for her missing sisters who led her to the graden of evil .. so what's the fucking secret?.. well... lets just says, he gives names to his plants.. and each plant's name is the same as it's fertilizer! He he he he

LITTLE OTIK (OTESANEK) - 2000 - Czeck Film (subtitled in English) by Jan Svankmajer - According to the sleeve, this is based from a famous Czech legend. I guess this is now adopted in  a more modern setting. This is a story about the disillusioned couple who can't bore a child. Suddenly, the husband took home an odd looking part of a tree, roots & a small portion of it's trunk which to them looks like a child. Then actually make it their child & beating Pinocchio on his wish, this baby came alive but eats a shit loads of meat, any fucking meat, so first, pork or beef from the market, then the post man then the social worker he he he until it grew & grew.. so how they stopped this human eating plat freak? better for you to watch.. this is fantasy with dark & sinister humor..

MANIA - 1960 - English - by John Gilling - I think this is the oldest film that I have found. This is in B/W! Which makes it more chilling to watch! This is about a doctor who buys corpses from two criminals who robs the cemetery and when no new corpses are being laid on the ground, well, they kill to get one! Horror, violence, corpses, rapes... what else do you want.. and as if you are seeing an old dream.. in B/W!!!

THEATRE OF BLOOD - 1973 - English - by Douglas Hickox - I'll bet you know Vincent Price!?! This films is said to be considered as 'black comedy' and horror. Yes it has some black humor and maybe also because of the plot and of the characters involved, a deranged actors with gangs of lunatics which should be on a mental home! This is a sinister film especially if you think this was made in the early 70s. The scary thing here is that when actors cannot cut themselves from what they are portraying, and the script for a movie or theatre for that matter becomes your reality! Well, this is what it will become, your life, a theatre of blood! A very old film worth watching!

INTACTO - 2001 - English Language - Spanish Film - by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo - This is a movie about luck and the people who knows how to use it & others who abuse it! Is luck a gift or something you can acquire or learn? How far will you go to find out how lucky you are? Some circumstance in our life we would actually say we are lucky..but then again are we?? Will you bet your life or other's life if you feel you are lucky? Find out how a group of people who feels and wants to be the luckiest person in the world..but of course, if you are number 2 you have to surpass number 1 to be on the top! So watch these movie and see what are the circumstances where you might pass and see if you are lucky. Of course you can loose a house, a car, a million dollar, a limb and a life!!! THE BEAST or LE BETE - 1975 - English Language - Polish Film - By Walerian Borowczyk - This is the same director who made the 'behind convent walls' & like that movie this is said to be banned in Poland till the past decade due to controversial subject matter. The movie's setting is 18th century France. An aristocratic family has to save what is left of their wealth by marrying the only son to an American lady. But the French family has a  dark secret.. and a dark story about a lady member of the family before then who had a sexual experience with a 'beast' who once lived in the woods of the estate. And that full story is revealed to a dream to the American.. this movie is very sexual & bestial in nature! Even though the main 'evil' story here is about the copulation between the lady & the beast, other evils of men are shown or depicted in a way that as if it is a common thing that you might not even notice. Like the priest who kisses his altar boys, the duke who poisoned his wife or the the daughter who fucks the butler...plus more figures of bestial lust, but there is a funny side of this movie but I think it is better for you to watch this! A WOMAN POSSESSED or LA PAPESSE(?) - 1974 - French Film subtitled in English - By Mario Mercier - This is a story of a religious cult group and a writer who want to write about it and so he must join to see and experience what is to be part of the cult. But he never thought it would end up the bad way! A beautiful view of a country, naked women, sacrifices & rituals.. and of course the encounter of the doomed writer & his wife with the cult and their leader.. the woman possessed!!

SADOMANIA - 1988 - English language - By Jess Franco - Well, the title alone gives you a clue of what this is all about eh! Expect nudity nudity & nudity with some pain on the side! But of course there is a story! A female prison camp ran by a general who has a hard time getting an erection who is helped by his own wife to rape & have their way to the prisoners! And when they are done, they'll even sell you off to a prostitution gang or just feed you to crocodiles! Of course they were saved, by a man who was forced to leave his girlfriend in the prison! This man is good as he runs around fully clothed, or at least with a shirt, but the girls that he saved & comes along with him are half naked! he he he soft porn, some animal fuck & action!

FRUITS OF PASSION, The Story of "O" continued - 1981 - English Language - By Shuji Terayama - I don't know if you can call this a Japanese film as the director is Japanese. The movie setting is 1920, Hong Kong. A British woman who is lost-in-love to an older man succumbs to the man's lifestyle of forbidden ecstasy that she gave herself to the man's brothel & to be happy and maybe the man would make love to her. Even though that is the main story line, this film is varied & very artistic in nature, both in graphic & psychological way, it even have a political side as Chinese rebellion against the British is part of the story. But it is a bit hard to grasp what this films really wants to put across. So many scene, background, scenarios & even the ending is made in a non-direct approach that different meaning can be put by any person who would watch this. This is probably the best example of what some people called 'arts films'...filled with carnal desires & lust for pain!

SALO  or The 120 days of Sodom - Italian , subtitled in English - Late 70s - Directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. I'm not sure about the year but this is an old film. I got this copy from a metal head here in Abu Dhabi. This is said to be banned in other if not most countries! This is probably the most brutal, disturbing & sickening film I have ever saw! This is not a horror film per se, but everything is brutally sick! This is somewhat political & ideological in nature. Think of a society where all morality is set aside & all your lust, for sex, pain, power can be exercised! That will be great if you are part of the 'superior' group, but if not, well.. think again! Think of people who has no regard to religion, to your rights, who can fuck you at will, inflict pain on you, treat you like animals & to them eating shit is a pure delicacy! If you don't want to think or needs help to visualize it all, then find this movie! This is not for the weak of minds & stomach! ..and the best ending too! It is of a ritualistic torture!!! When the weak has to be weeded out! ... And doesn't the Title alone interest you??? Sorry can't put any movie stills..

Henry : Portrait of a Serial Killer - English - 1990 - Directed by John McNaughton. - www.mpimedia.com This is a low budget film, at 100,000$ cost shot in 28 days. That's what it was said in the interview of the director. There are some well known actors in this films or at least before they got famous, like the main character played by Michael Rooker who is also in Cliffhanger, JFK, The Dark Half.. and his accomplice played by Tom Towles who is also in The Prophecy 2, Night of the Living Dead, Pit and the Pendulum. This film also got good reviews in its time & got some award & nominations on other film associations. This is not a true story or bibliographical film but it is loosely based in the accused serial killer Henry Lee Lucas who is said to have killed more than 300 people. Based on the interview of the Director, this was supposed to be a 'home-video movie' where they actually wanted to make a horror movie. But 'coz of small budget, they can't afford the FX, monsters, etc...and other circumstances happened and it led to this film. This film is indeed a 'horror' film in a sense of being 'a natural' horror in life that we live in. This shows that any one can be a victim by a serial killer & the serial killer doesn't necessarily got caught! The brutality shown here, both the violence & 'mind set' of killers, the situations, are very much more realistic. It is direct, brutal & morally degrading yet with a hint of dark comedy. Plus this gives you some techniques in serial killing, like "never use a gun twice", "always be on the move, as the cops will first try to find where you've been & not where you are going.." This is best for mature viewers! A movie that starts with a dead body, ended with a dead body & the serial killer.. well, he is still out there!!!

KALIFORNIA - English - 1993 - Directed by Dominic Sena - This is said to be the feature film debut of the director. This is a big movie label film with big names, namely Brad Pitt as the Serial Killer 'Early Grayce' & David Duchovny as the writer 'Brian Kessler'. The story evolves on the struggling writer Brian who want to write about Serial Killers & his Wife who is a struggling photo artist. They decided to 'go to the path where the known serial have lived & killed'..along the way of going to California. But Brian decided to share the journey to any one who would want to go along, to share expenses with, and that will be Early with his girlfriend. There were already hints that Early here is some sort of a killer, so along the way, they found out until Brian & his wife becomes the victims. Anyway, it is better for you to watch this, not bad for a big movie label film. It has good action & brutal scenes too. And the psyche in the movie kind of mirrors what we ask ourselves. There was a question mention in this movie.. "What is the difference between serial killers & us?"...in the last part Brian has concluded that "We all have the capacity to kill, but we feel remorse, serial killers don't!".. then a tape which was previously recorded by Early kept on playing. It is regarding a serial killer who never got caught..and Early in his opinion said "I believe he is still alive, and every night he keeps thinking, in his head, what has he done..again..and again.."..

Ilsa- She Wolf of the Nazi -   English - 1974- Directed by Don Edmonds- According to the producer, this is based on documented facts as medical experiments done by the Nazis. This is one of the Ilsa series. I remember watching this when I was in high school, the other Ilsa's are about a Harem & about the Gulag & I don't know if maybe there are more? I already found a copy of the gulag but the harem. This film also exploits the sadism & atrocities done by the German Nazi. Ilsa wants to prove that women can bear more pain than man and along the way of the experiments she fucks with the man she chooses from the prisoners. I think this is more sadistic & gory that the other Ilsa films. This is a films of Sex & Violence, & victims are both men & women. Very good fx also on the torture scenes! And she reminds me a lot of The Great Kat! Ha ha ha.

Salon Kitty -  Italian/German/French co-production - Subtitled in English - 1975- Directed by Tinto Brass- This is a long political soft porn movie which tick at more than 2 hours. The story is about  a sex den which is named 'Salon Kitty' & how the German Nazis used it as an espionage tool against their own army & ally. The plans is to get information from the soldiers who will come & fuck in the Salon. All the whores in the salon are actually trained by the Nazi to serve the 3rd Reich. All rooms are bugged & so all conversations are recorded. The Nazis are thinking that men will say anything to a woman specially if they are fucking them. So, all men who say insults & threat to the Reich is killed after wards. But the Captain who is head of the operation is a corrupt one  & not really loyal to the Reich as the Nazis thought he is.. so he is killed in the end. But there is more into the story.. a love triangle & an unsuspecting Kitty (who is the madam of the salon) who takes vengeance on the captain.

Black Angel -  Italian Film - Subtitled in English - 19??- Directed by Tinto Brass- This is another film which explores sexuality in the 2nd World War. A woman who is married to a powerful man in Italy, as she is not satisfied with the sex she is getting from her husband she looks elsewhere & falls to a High Ranking German soldier who uses her, both sexually & financially. The woman trusted the German & thought everything is real until she finds the lies & deception! So, she finds a way for the German to be executed. Very much in the vein of the movie mentioned above as it is directed by the same man, although a minor changes in plot but still the same as it explores sex, deception and the brutality of World War Two!

Exquisite Tenderness -  Canadian Film - 1994- Directed by Carl Shenkel - As said in the movie, Exquisite Tenderness is a medical term, "its a point where pain reaches the most extreme". A modern day Frankenstein with a twist. A doctor who saw how his older brother died when he was young, discovers how to regenerate the body so as to stop death but of course conducted his research in an unlawful way. The doctors from the hospital where he use to work & did the research thought he is locked in jail. But soon patients are dying in a bizarre way 'coz the  doctor needs raw materials for his regenerating power! His ex-lover who is a lady resident doctor is the one who spoiled his research. now he takes vengeance but....  Not much blood but some medical gore scenes are good. So, don't watch this if you are confined in the hospital or have plans of going to the doctor! he he he

Second Name -  Spanish Film - English - 2002- Directed by Paco Plaza - Based on the book "Pact of the Fathers" by Ramsey Campbel - This is about the rituals of Abrahamites. A religious cult following the ritual of killing your first born in the name of God. The story starts on the suicide of a rich man. His only daughter, devastated by the incident promised to her self to find the truth. As she search for it, she finds truth to be unreal! She finds her father is not her biological father but can't hate him 'coz he has saved her life. twice... and now that she knows that her father & her father's friends are members of the cult.. she wanted to stop them all..but all is too late.. as the ritual shall continues! There is more twist in the plot though. There is a religious message in this film or at least that's what I think it is. There is a scene where a priest tells the daughter about the cult & show's her a painting of the first ritual where Abraham was told to sacrifice his first born.. the priest said "Look a good look at his (Angel's) expression.. notice the position of his hands..what he is doing is telling Abraham to tighten the grip around Isaac's throat.. the true will of god.."..after  some more conversation, the priest says.. "But don't forget, that its god himself who sent his son to be sacrificed"...hmmm. an interesting argument isn't it? So why 'Second Name' you might ask? According to the story, Abrahamites always have a second name, which they give as the first name of the first born.. and the daughter thought she is the only child.. but her mother who is in an mental asylum calls the name Josephine instead of her.. and her father's second name is Joseph..

Embrace The Darkness 3 -  English - 2002- This is an erotic-vampire movie and after seeing this you might say, "Hell yeah I want to be a fucking vampire!" coz the vampires here fucks before they suck blood! Ha ha ha Although they have a good storyline where the master of a vampire group is looking for the prophesied 'Pure' vampire who can live & go out in the day. that is the lady vampire here. After some fucking & some more fucking they found each other & the other wanting to kill the other so the other can have the power of the other but the other killed the other instead! Huh?? This is definitely what you can call an X-Goth film! he he he For vampire masturbator!!! metallic speaking, there is a porno grind but I haven't heard of a Porno-Goth!!! I wonder how it would be...

Mistress - French  film -  Subtitled in English - 1976 - by Barbet Schroeder -  This is actually a love story of a different kind. A jobless man comes with his friend selling books house to house. But when they found out a flat's owners are on a vacations, they tried to steal from it. never knowing that it is an S&M den! They were caught by the Mistress 'coz she has this big dog guarding the flat. Anyway, the jobless man falls in love with the mistress & vice versa. So, the mans tries to understand what the mistress' life is all about & the mistress giving everything to man, money & flesh! But they got separated coz the man want the Mistress to stop or at least stop being cheated by her real boss who is also in love with the mistress & giving her protection.. anyway, he manages to prove that he loves here despite all of the S&M going on around them.. the nice thing about this film is the bondage, Sado-masochism scenes! With the whips, leather & chains, mask & other implements of torture!

Anatomy 2 - German film -  Subtitled in English - 2003 - by Stefan Ruzowitzky -  This is from a big movie label, but seems good, maybe because it is not made in Hollywood? he he he This is about a secret society called 'Anti-Hippocratic' in the medical profession. They are conducting banned experiments on humans, specifically the development of synthetic body parts! But of course some who changed their mind when they are in the society will surely die! Not much gore really, just some flesh cuts here & there, some sex scenes and.. well, this is I think the first foreign films where I saw the Filipinos are put in a good light. I don't know if this was shown in the Philippines 'coz the leading lady is a Filipina but she looks more Chinese. I did not see the part 1 so I can't compare this. This is better that the splatter movies coming out of Hollywood though! And the title  alone reminds you of a gore grinding fun eh!

Rats - Nights of Terror - Italian film -  English - 1984 - by John Gayford (Bruno Mattei) -  This is a mix of Mad Max-Zombies-Planets of the Apes movies..well, kind of... the setting is 2015 AB, or after the bomb! Humans are separated, those who decided to live under the earth & those who stayed above..or at least they thought they were.. . The humans above have to deal with these mutated rats where humans are now part of their food chain! So expect blood, gore & a bit shitty effects, but this is an old movie & not from a big production so, it is ok. Some soft porn are also in it.. see the rats gnaw through the humans one by one cornering them.. yeah, guts & blood! Rats eating from the ass emerging on the mouth! .. and as the humans thought they have contacted the humans below.. well.. I really did not expect.. it was not humans after all.. its the real mutated rats.. walks & seems like humans under the over alls! AArrgghh..that's what I call a big fucking Rat!!!

Beyond Re-Animator - Spanish/American film -  English - 2003 - by Brian Yuzna  -  This is from a Spanish production, I think.. but on a big movie label & also I'm not sure about the  year, this seems new.. oh fuck! Anyway, I'm looking for Re-Animator which I still haven't saw till now, and this is what I get. It has gore alright plus the story line every one knows & which the title implies.. but I think this is shitty as horror can't really be combined comedy.. even though not totally comical, I just fucking hate a supposed to be horror film flirting with my funny bones! If I want a comedy I will fucking see a comedy films or watch cartoons or the Christian fellowship show in the Philippines 'coz they are funny as hell fighting each other!!!!! Only the gore effects are fun to watch here!!! Then again...

The Grim Reaper - Greek  Film - English - 1981 - by Joe D'Amato  -  A suspense thriller with some cannibalistic gore! A group of friends went to Greece for a vacation. They met a lady along the way who asked if the group can help her find a mysterious  island . Seeking for adventure the group agreed. They found the island deserted, except for a ghostly woman,  a blind girl who is drenched in blood & swing a knife in her hand.. and the Grim Reaper who attacks in them one by one... they found a big mansion far from the main village going thru the cemetery.. and there a woman lives.. but soon enough hangs herself... & the story of the Grim Reapers unfolds within the mansion.. a rich man who becomes a cannibal when he eats his son & wife to survive after a being stuck in a boat out in the sea...now he is after the group of friends..

Edge of Terror - Greek/American Film - English - 1986 - by Niko Mastorakis - A suspense thriller about a lady mystery writer who leaves her husband in the USA & went to a Greek island to finish her work. The island is a seasonal tourist destination. When it is out of season, the villagers spend their time in the main island or on holiday to other countries. Thus the lady writer is the island only with the old man who  owns the house she is renting.. and the caretaker who is an American ex-soldier . The old man warned her about the 'winds' which seems to have a mind & not to go out at night.. soon the old man ends up dead...& the ex-soldier? well, he hunts her as he flips out of his mind... and the eerie wind becomes her savior!

Unborn Yet Unforgotten - South Korean Film - Subtitled in English - 2002 - The directors name is written in Korean so I don't know what to write here! A super natural film in today's technological setting. Main story is that every woman who logged on a Woman's Hospital Web Site dies on the 15th day from the date of  logging on. The way of death is bizarre as their womb expands crushing the innards. Death is a bit swift but painful. The main players are a detective, his lady friends who is a documentary reporter who logged on the site & the news anchor man who is the reporters boyfriend. The story evolves between them & the mystery woman who started the curse and why her unborn child is  haunting the women. The mystery is not  fully solved though as you will get to know why the lady ghost & her unborn child kills.. but who made the website? & why put the curse on it?...This is better than Hollywood made Horror film I've seen so far!

Behind Convent Walls - Polish Film - Dubbed in English - 1975 - By Walerian Borowcyk - A nun sexploitation film? Or a view of what have or could happen behind those convent's walls? This is a sexual films which emphasis on the sexual desire of women specially the Nuns & the thing that any one will do to satisfy their lust! A desecration to their vows of chastity & blasphemy against the doctrine they submit! No wonder this film has been banned for so long & up to now it is in other countries. This is not a direct pornography but I find it more or a bit sinister. One of the highlights of this films is when a nun founds a wood that broke their convent window, she took the wood & a piece of the broken glass, use the glass to make the wood into a dildo! Then asking another than to draw a face on the flat side of the wooden dildo which kinda look like your Jesus & the camera focus on her masturbation! She really inserted the wooden dildo! With some blood even!!  You really must see this movie!!

Mountain of the Cannibal God - Spanish Film - Dubbed in English - 1978 - By Luciano Martino- Well, this is for the Cannibal, Flesh eating gore lovers out there! This is in the vein of Cannibal Holocaust! The story is a woman pretends to find her  lost husband in the jungle & took some help to find him. One who help is an old friend of her husband who was an adopted member of the Cannibal Tribe in the past & wants to kill all the tribe so that he would be free from his flesh eating lust. A missionary they met along the way is the main hero who saved the lady from the Cannibal Tribe. This has great views of the jungle & some shots of the animal brutality They mixed some soft porno & a bit of funny shits like the cannibal man fucking a huge pig!  He he he. Even though the Cannibal Holocaust is far more better than this film, this is still good to see & a good collection for the gore cannibalistic creatures out there!

The Coming Of Sin or La Visita Del Vicio - Spanish film - Dubbed in English - 1977 - Directed by Jose Raman Larraz.  This is an erotic film with dark touches of mystery. Is a story of a gypsy girl who is having a dreams about a naked man riding a horse. There is also a part of the dream where she is inside a wooden horse for the horse to copulate! The mystery is about the curse that if she will give in to the love of the naked-riding man, some one will surely die! But she is also seem to love the Spanish Lady to whom she is living with & that Spanish Lady has also fallen in lust to the naked-riding man! Who the hell will fucking die? Well, enjoy the erotic scenes & the whirlwind dreams... you will know in the end.

The Decameron - Italian film - Subtitled in English - 1970 - Directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini.  This is like a compilation of short stories. The setting of the stories seems to be in the middle ages in Italy or somewhere there. The stories evolve in human characters of thievery, murder, fornication & adultery! But this is all in  a Dark Comedy style. Not so serious but as you see, the theme are so sinister! Like the horny nuns of the convent who all shared the lust of the gardener! The magician who fucked the wife who gave him shelter for the night! The brothers who killed their sister's lover & the sister who found out that his lover is dead, has found the body & decapitated the head so she can bring it home & put it in a flowering plant! The wife who is always nagging the husband to work while she fucks with another at home! A man who died 'coz of too much fucking! yes, all seems loony, simple evils of men & women from the olden ways!

Ed Gein - American Film - Directed by Chuck Parelld. I don't know what year this films is released or copyrighted? Oh, you know who this is! Beside from the Macabre song & some band's name, you have probably read a book or two? Anyway, this is the film about Ed Gein. Some original footage from the news in the 1950's are used in the beginning & the end of the film. Of course there will be a difference in watching this than reading it in a book. But it depends on how you perceive it. Anyway, they show here how he is obsessed with shrunken heads & believes in re-incarnation & he digs up bodies & tried to re-animate them through prayers. They portray him as a person who sees his dead mother & doing all those murders 'coz his mother has told him that the victims are evil or some sort. Not much gore really nor did they at least made it more suspense full but I guess it is good. Or maybe you'll get more suspense if you haven't read a book about him?
