=Great, go see it! =Good, it's okay to see. Not that great, probably shouldn't go see it. [-No Stars-]= Terrible! Don't ever see that movie!! | On The Line Vanilla Sky Behind Enemy Lines Shallow Hal A Beautiful Mind Black Hawk Down A Walk to Remember |
[-No Stars-] “On The Line” Starring: Lance Bass and Joey Fatone
Hmmm… where to start? There’s just so many hateful things I can say about this movie. First of all, it starred two very untalented actors, who happen to be members of the pop group *Nsync. One word of advice to Lance and Joey, “Stick to your day jobs!!” Well, actually that’s five words. The story line was very predictable. I mean me and Bobbie went to see it and she just pretty much told me each scene before they happened. It was awful. I mean it was about a guy (Lance) who met a girl on a train, and they completely hit it off. The problem was though, he neve got her name or her phone number. So the whole movie was about him trying to find her. It was a completely awful movie, so don’t see it, don’t rent it, and most definitely don’t’ buy it!! It will just be a waste of money and time.

“Vanilla Sky” Starring: Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz.
I think I speak for everyone who saw this movie when I say I didn’t get that movie. I don’t understand what exactly happened, so please, if you got it, please tell me what happened. After I watched that movie I had the hugest headache in the world, for thinking so much (which obviously doesn’t happen too much Lol). I think I would have liked it better if I would’ve got what happened. Because besides everything at the end, I liked it a lot. Tom Cruise looked good for the most part and did an excellent acting job. I could’ve done without seeing Penelope Cruz’s boobs, but besides that she did a good job acting too. I’m not going to tell you the story line because I’ll end up ruining too much. So go see it, to tell me what you got from it. My advice is, if you go see it, to pay big attention during the whole film, especially the end. But that still didn’t help me lol. It was a good yet bizarre film.

”Behind Enemy Lines” Starring: Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman
Now this movie, which lacked big name actors (except Gene Hackman) turned out to be an excellent film. The beginning was a little boring, but if you keep on watching, you’ll be quite surprised with how good it ends up being. I think this movie didn’t get the credit that it most definitely deserved. The movie was about an Army pilot (Owen Wilson) who’s plane gets shot down by this Bosnian terrorist group. He survives the crash but is being chased by the Bosnian terrorists. So…yeah…go see it!! It was great!! A lot of cool action scenes.

“Shallow Hal” Starring: Jack Black and Gwenyth Paltrow
Don’t have much to say about this film. It wasn’t that good. I mean it wasn’t as funny as you thought it would be. All the funny parts were in the previews. It was about a guy who was really shallow (obviously) and something happens to him to make him only see the inner beauty in women instead of their outer appearances. So the movie had a nice message at the end, you know, don’t judge a book by its cover. But I still think the movie kind of sucked. But it was better than On the Line.

“A Beautiful Mind” Starring: Russell Crowe and Ed Harris
Oh my gosh, I loved this movie!! It was so incredible. There was such great actors in the film, including the one and only Russell Crowe. Sure the guy is probably a complete asshole, but he sure can act. (Not to mention he’s pretty damn good looking.) I know what you’re thinking, you’re probably thinking I only liked it because Russell Crowe was in it. That is not true at all. I would admit if it sucked or not. And also don’t believe anything Bobbie says about the movie, because she’s crazy. She’s out of her mind. But anyways the movie is about the life of Nobel Prize winner John Nash. He is this complete genius and could figure out all these equations so easily. I know what you are saying. Equations? BORING!! Yeah that’s what Bobbie is probably gonna tell you. But this man has an interesting life, I’m not going to tell you it because I’d just ruin the movie for you guys. And then you guys would be pissed. All I got to say is this movie is gonna win some damn Golden Globes or Oscars, or both. So go see it, it’s definitely worth your money. And Russell Crowe looks good!! What else can you possibly ask for?

“Black Hawk Down” Starring: Josh Hartnett
This movie was really cool, if you like movies with action and war. Which I like a lot. This movie is strictly about war. There’s no love story behind it like “Pearl Harbor.” But “Pearl Harbor” was an awesome movie too. But a lot of people don’t like love stories in a war movie. So this film is a true story about Somalia (which is in Africa) in 1993. It’s about when American soldiers went into Somalia. Their intentions were to help the Somalian people, but they got attacked by them instead. So it is mostly about these brave soldiers who fight for their lives. There is some scenes with a lot of gore, so I hope you have a strong stomach because it’s not pretty lol. But I like movies that show you what exactly happen, that are not afraid to show you how brutal things got in battle. So to sum things up there was good acting and I think this movie did a good job of honoring the brave men who fought in Somalia.

“A Walk to Remember” Starring: Mandy Moore and Shane West
This movie was a whole lot better than I thought it was going to be. Because most movies with a singer converting into an actor usually suck. Kind of like “On the Line.” But this one was different, Mandy Moore did a great job, and I was definitely surprised. Not only does she sing well, she also is a very talented actress. The movie was about a girl (Mandy Moore) who is a minister’s daughter. She is very protected by her father and she is like an outcast at school. She falls in love with a guy (Shane West) who is like one of the popular people. He starts off as a troubled young man, but Mandy Moore’s character changes him around for the better. But I won’t tell you anymore. All I got to say is if you are an emotional person, bring some tissues. The movie is sad, so be prepared. This film has a lot of different meanings, people probably have their own opinion of what it is. I believe that the meaning of this movie was, if you have faith miracles will happen.
