Welcome to Troop 53's page on the World Wide Web!
On behalf of our entire troop, we would like to invite you in to explore what we have to offer. Troop 53 is a large troop, and we have just finished moving into our first new meeting place, the Andrew Shaw Memorial Scout Cabin (see the links below for details). We are proud to be a troop, and so are our scouts; we have had 106 scouts make it to the rank of Eagle, the highest badge attainable in Scouting. Only those who are dedicated and ready to take on any challenge in life succeed in this.
Troop 53 provides a fun and enriching environment for the young men of Darien, Connecticut and the surrounding area. There is much to be learned here, and it is possible to grow very much in maturity and knowledge of the surrouding world. If you have a Scouting group in your area, please join; it is something that you will not want to miss.
