RAF No 90 Squadron Fortress Mk I Campaign

Welcome to the RAF No 90 Squadron Campaign. Do want a new B-17 game challenge? Would you like to bomb Germany in 1941? Then join the the pioneers of daylight, high altitude bombing, in a tour of duty. The USAAC B-17C or RAF Fortress Mk I was quite a different plane from the B-17F used in the standard game. A smaller crew, less guns, and no power turrets. The British tried hitting targets from 30,000 feet. Just seeing the target from nearly six miles up is quite a challenge much less hitting it; and the highly secret Norden Bomb Site had been replaced by a Sperry Design. As Squadron Commander you have 20 planes and crews not fully trained to carry out deep penetration missions that almost included Berlin. in addition to the Germans you'll have to deal with all kinds of mechanical problems from the extreme cold at high altitude as well the weather which will prevent you from reaching your target as effectively as the Luftwaffe.
