The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, launched in 1993, has to date raised approximately $165 million in the U.S. for access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. In the U.S. these funds are raised through sale of special “pink ribbon” fundraising products by Avon Sales Representatives – 550,000 across the country – and through the series of Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day walks and other special events. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade is part of the Avon Worldwide Fund for Women’s Health, which supports programs in 35 countries for breast cancer and other women’s health issues.
