Dark Gohan is gohan with all his anger Released. His mother was too strict and he never had any fun. The closest thing to fun was fighting, he began to yearn for battles until he couldn't control it. and all the anger bottled up in him for all those years just exploded. Gohan doesn't give a damn about anyone and will step on anyone to get what he wants, that includes his mother and father. with all of his anger he has unlocked new power that even his father can't match. it's kind of like a SSJ5 majin level. he has No equal in the Universe.
