Mme Erkan of the Turkish Embassy presents the First Prize - 'The 2003 Ambassadors' Art Prize'
The Ambassadors' Art Prize of 2003 brought artists both national and international into competition with the finalists shown at the Decourtenay Galleries. With the theme - Folklore and Popular Song, the winners were presented by the Turkish Embassy, honoring the winner of the First Prize. (See photos this page!) Olga ZRIHEN, European Deputy, presents the Decourtenay Prize in 2003 (winner - Jean-Marc LEDOUX). 2005 brings both the Ambassadors' First Prize and the Decourtenay Prize to its new home in Chatelet, Belgium,close to Charleroi in Wallonia. The competition will be held at the Maison du Peuple, 8, rue de la praye, and the laureats will be shown there and at the Decourtenay Galleries. Without a doubt, the talent in the competiton is growing, and the jury is following, with this years theme - In the Steps of Jules Verne.
