Here's about the time when Dinky was called many bad names, the hardest part of the swap. Many times people said "Yo dude, why don't you just convert that bitch to a stick?!"

In order to put in an automatic, you will have to cut your fender wells for clearance. The transmission is electronically controlled, and requires a separate ECU. There's a few tricks to the wiring. Without the transmission ECU, you will only have 2nd and 3rd gear, and you will have to shift manually. Wiring up of the separate ECU is, by far, the hardest part of this.
