English Grammar

These days I have no special schedule for over a week so I'm making use of this good free days, I'm studying English grammar by myself at home. In fact, I love to read a grammar book from end to end. Actually, I have a thick grammar book of English I bought a year ago, which I had no time to read it thoroughly, so I have looked forward to reading it for a long time. Besides, you know,, the concept of the IES program is training your reading/writing/listening/speaking skill but not grammatical knowledge. However, it doesn't mean you don't have to get back to grammar. Grammar is a prerequisite of the class, and I need to get back to it if I forget some. This time I'm doing kinda thorough review, checking the usage of noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, etc. Because that book is a challenging one for me, every time I encounter a new item of English grammar such as "genitive", I get excited all the more. Why? That's all because I wanna atttain proficiency in "sophisticated English". I mean I don't wanna just be able to use English but be able to use correct and meaningful English that can make me much more advanced. Grammar is the significant key for accomplishing it.
