"I've Written This Children's Book, Now How Do I Get It Published?" Yep, that's the name of this page, and it has a lot of info on how to answer that question. Helpful books to finding the right publisher, how to write up a query letter or proposal, etc. A good little page chock full of information.
The Purple Crayon A website run by a Children's Book Editor. This site is wonderful because it has so much useful information. Numerous articles on genres, how to begin writing for children, how to's, tips, links, insider info, etc.
Children's Writing Resource at Inkspot. Good page for FAQ's, tips from pro's via interviews and questions, articles, forums and so on.
The Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators. Official site that offers info on the Society, how to join, information on their annual grants to works in progress, etc. Member do not have to be published to join as an Associate Member, but for full Membership privileges, you must be published. A site worth looking through.
Verla Kay's Website. Who is Verla Kay?! She is a Children's book author, as well as owner of this website that was chosen by Writers Digest to be one of the top 101 website for writers in 2000. (Her is the ONLY Children's writing site on the list!) Why? It's a great site! Check it out!
