Cycling
Canvey has several off road cycle routes to allow safe cycling for all. There is also a path around the sea wall, most of which is suitable for cycling.

Horse Riding
Although there is no riding school on the island there are several livery stables situated in Northwick Road and Haven Road. Grassy stretches along the sea wall provide good places to ride, but due to the island size places to hack are limited.
Netball

Walking
A footpath runs right around the edge of the island offering views across the creek and towards Southend on the northern side of the island, and views of the Kent coastline from the south.
