Nancy currently lives in Los Angeles. Nancy was a student of the Vocal Power Institute around 1980. Nancy McKeon is better known as "Jo" of "The Facts of Life". She starred in several TV movies and has co-produced her own sitcom called Can't Hurry Love".

Nancy's first job on television was accidental she was only two years old when a friend of her family suggested that Philip would try out for a television commercial. Nancy was supposed to stay with her baby-sitter that day, the baby-sitter cancelledat the last minute so Nancy went along to the audition and got the part. After the audition she went on with modeling for Sears catalogs and other fashion shows.

Nancy and her brother Philip appeared in a about 60 commercials all together. Years later Philip and their mom went to California to audition for a television show. After only 2 auditions, Philip was cast as Linda Lavin's son on the TV-sitcom "Alice". A year later, Nancy and her dad sold the house in Queens and moved to Los Angeles. She was about 9 years old. They lived in a one bedroom apartment close to the Warner Bro. studios.

She auditioned for 3 years and at when she was 12 she got her first TV role on another TV-Sitcom "Starsky and Hutch". After that, she guest starred in several TV-series including: "Fantasy Island", "Stone","Alice" and "Love Boat". Soon after that she was cast as a regular on "The Facts of Life".

Nancy is a very talented person and has continually demonstrated her large range of talents that have made her a leading actress and producer.
