August 11, 2000 This amusement park trip brought Bessie to Six Flags Great America, just north of Chicago. First stop was at the famous Columbia Carousel which looms large over the park entrance. Bessie was not content just looking at it, and she demanded to take a ride. Too bad there were no cows for her to ride, however the cats provided good company. Next, a ride on the Sky Whirl provided a good view of the park, and especially of the historic American Eagle coaster. Finally, Bessie was found hanging out on the wall near Batman The Ride. She actually tried to steal the Batmobile, but TravelwithBessie.com does not carry enough liability insurance to let cows drive, so that attempt was quickly thwarted.
