Purpose Statement

The purpose of NFRB is to solve problems with, create variations to, and expand on the fine board game of Risk, to the satisfaction of the gameplayer.  It is our sincere belief that every gameplayer possesses an unalienable right to a higher quality game of Risk than is provided by the respectable manufacturer.  Specifically, we execute this right by manufacturing new boards/pieces, printing new rules variations, and distributing game tips and suggestions, to the overall satisfaction of the consumer.

 

Preamble
We the members of the International Foundation for RiskŪ Betterment do agree to abide and keep with in these guidelines to be put into effect while participating in anything IFRB related.
Article I - The Offices
Section I - The CEO
1. The CEO must be at least 15 yrs of age or older. No exceptions.
2. Must be a Founding Father unless said Founding Fathers have all renounced said Foundation. Or unless said Founding Fathers unanimously  vote in a member who has been a part of the IFRB for at least 365 days.
3. Must have full approval of other Founding Fathers and majority vote of members
4. The CEO may be of either sex.

Duties include:
1. Presiding at Meetings.
2. Making dates to hold Meetings, Games, and Tournaments. Also Risk informational  nights for possible future members.
3. Interacting with other Officers for the betterment of  the Foundation.
4. Creating and keeping a Application Form up-to-date
5. Interviewing candidates for Membership
6. Decides, together with the President, the punishment to be laid on any Member or Officer who may be disruptive in any IFRB gathering. Has ability to confer with President then ask person to leave.

Section II - The President
1. The President must be at least 15 yrs of age or older. No exceptions.
2. Must be a Founding Father unless said Founding Fathers have all renounced said Foundation. Or unless said Founding Fathers unanimously  vote in a member who has been apart of the IFRB for at least 365 days.
3. Must have full approval of other Founding Fathers and majority vote of members
4. The President may be of either sex.

Duties include:
1. Presiding in the absence of the CEO
2. Helping the CEO create and send out invitations for any meetings, Banquets, Etc... which the IFRB may hold.
3. Keeping in touch with the other Members
4. Interviewing candidates for Membership

Section III - The Vice - President
1. The President must be at least 15 yrs of age or older. No exceptions.
2. Must be a Founding Father unless said Founding Fathers have all renounced said Foundation. Or unless said Founding Fathers unanimously  vote in a member who has been apart of the IFRB for at least 365 days.
3. Must have full approval of other Founding Fathers and majority vote of members
4. The Vice - President may be of either sex.

Duties include:
1. Taking the Presidents place if he should be absent from any meeting.
2. Likewise performing any services which the President might need to Perform, in case of the Presidents Absence.
3. Interviewing Candidates for Membership

Section IV - Public Relations & Administrator of Affairs Officer
1. The Public Relations & Administrator of Affairs Officer must be at least 15 yrs of age or older. No exceptions.
2. Must be a Founding Father unless said Founding Fathers have all renounced said Foundation. Or unless said Founding Fathers unanimously  vote in a member who has been apart of the IFRB for at least 365 days.
3. Must have full approval of other Founding Fathers and majority vote of members
4. The Public Relations & Administrator of Affairs Officer may be of either sex.

Duties include:
1. Keeping all Members of the IFRB informed as to what is happening in the Foundation
2. Making or affirming dates for anything IFRB related.
3.Approving applications by potential members
4. Recruiting New members and keeping applications of any Members who join.
5.Interviewing Candidates for Membership

Section V - Members
1. Members of the IFRB must be at least 10 yrs of age or older. No exceptions.
2. Anyone may be a member although the CEO and President do hold the right to withhold Membership to any individual. A decision to withhold membership will not be based on sex, age (over 10 years),  and race.
3. Must have majority of approval of Founding Fathers and majority vote of members. If person applying for membership has full approval of Founding Fathers member ballots are not necessary but may be used.
4. Members may be of either sex.

Duties include:
1. Participating in Risk events
2. Keeping in touch with any Official as to status of Foundation
3. Bettering the Foundation for the common cause

Article II - The Purpose
We have embodied this foundation for the express purpose of taking classic board games, mainly strategy mind games such as RiskŪ,  and modifying and/or creating different and [better] rules using the same board and/or mind set of the initial game. We feel we must make clear that we are not reproducing and selling any games we may create and/or modify in our proceedings. Our mission is to provide, not necessarily a [better] game, but a New and Intriguing twist to the game, in order that we might provide a [better] and more [interesting] [experience] for the [player].
Article III - Internal Affairs of the IFRB
Section I - Voting

A. For Members

1. The Officers shall take the Ballot provided by the President and Mark either YES or NO as to whether they want the proposed member(s) in the Foundation.
2. If the vote is not unanimous ballots shall be provided to the membership body and another vote shall be taken. If the majority say YES, then the ballots return to the Officers who then vote again. Majority of the vote 

B. For Office

1. One may only be nominated for office if the previous person who held the same office, for which the person is being nominated, has either: Died, Terminated his own Office term, or his Office Term was terminated by his fellow officers (see Terminating an Officers Term).
2. He must also meet the requirements for the proposed office. No Exceptions.
3. The other Officers Who are STILL in office must reach a common conclusion as to whether the nominated person should be voted into proposed office. There may be an exception of one and only one opposing Officer. In the case that the person being voted in is being nominated for the CEO position it must be a UNANIMOUS vote among the Officers, otherwise office is left open for another person to be nominated or left unused and duties to be taken over by the President until suitable person is found.

C. Terminating an Officers Term

1. Person proposing said Termination must provide five (5) valid points, to be approved by all Officers, on which the proposed Termination is based.
2. The Officers then meet in full Officer body excluding Person proposing the Termination and including the Person whom charges are put against and said Person may present his case with said valid Points laid before the other Officers. After case is presented Officers to vote on whether to Terminate and/or Excommunicate said Officer. Vote MUST BE UNANIMOUS in order to Terminate Office Term. Otherwise proceedings return to normal. No other charges may be pressed against That Officer who suffered a grievance until the time of 180 days has passed by.

D. Exterminating a membership

1. The Officers provide a formal meeting in which to hear the defendant. They then put it to a vote. Majority rules.
2. The CEO then decides, in the case of Member being let go, the process the member must suffer in order to be let back into membership... If ever.
