Figure 26, LTspice Simulation of the circuit of Figure 25. I confess to having lost a little sleep when contemplating writing the verbal description of the graph. There a total of 16 traces on the graph each one in a different color. That makes for a very colorful display but also a tangled web that is very difficult, if not impossible, to describe. I wonder just how many pages the description would take up. I'm not going to find out. I'll give you a general sense of what the figure looks like. You will get a good sense of how each curve looks when I describe the trace of the breadboarded circuit below. The graph shows the boost and cuts for four different settings of the frequency control. Then for each frequency there are curves for four settings of the presents control. The frequencies for each set of curves are 75 Hz, 350 Hz, 2 kHz, and 8 kHz. The presents control settings give 9.8 dB boost, 5.5 dB boost, 5.5 dB cut, and 9.7 dB cut. The boost peaks rise to their maximum, trace a nicely rounded peak and then fall back to zero. The cut peaks fall to a minimum tracing a nicely rounded peak and then rise back to zero. See the description for figure 27 below for more details of a single frequency curve. The schematic diagram which accompanies the graph is exactly like figure 25.
End of verbal description.
