The show is April 17th @ Lee District Rec Center, it starts @ 3:00, and admission will be $12 (well worth it).

2-9-04 40 years ago today the Beatles made their debut on the Ed Sullivan Show, 2 years ago today r6b made their first live appearance. So, happy 40th to the Beatles and happy 2nd anniversary of our first live show to us!

2-8-04 good stuff! the lyrics to "Neurotica" and "Bunnies, Blue skies, and everything else wrong and evil in the world" are now posted in the lyrics section for you to check out. 1-3-04 Hey runsixers, the show was crotchtacular to the extreme, tons of fun in other words! sorry to all that missed it, well we're gonna keep it chill for right now til after recording (most likely), but keep checkin back for updates, lates!

1-1-04 Happy New Year!!! Good news!!! Show on the 2nd w/ bjwalking and ready dakota! I mean Nebraska! Better news!!! NEW EP!!!! Runsixblank will move from Curtis' basement to Paul's Basement (Don't Look Down, Common Effect, our old old buds formerly known as Roadside 45) to record the week of February 2nd (soon)!!! Paul is our favorite producer and he should do a number on old favorites such as Evol and 6-14th, as well as new, unrecorded songs like neurotica and Loss of Blood. Stay tuned for a real track order/ more info!!!

12-17-03 Gall dernit!! Another show cancelled! Sorry guys, we haven't meant to book/ cancel so many shows this month. It's not due to tension in the band or anything, it's because Curtis and Brooks work retail and it's December. In fact, the band is doing better than ever... we had glorius four-way orgy last night!! Anyway, we can't play Fridee, but there is news cummin about a new recording... oh, there's news cummin.

12-9-03 So the show on sat was crazy rockin, thanks to BND and Amity for playin (brookside got snowed in NY) and thanks to all who were courageous enough to come out despite the weather. We got a show on the 19th at the Lorton Moose Lodge off route 1 for all who are interested, including Bliss, Misamerica, and Ready Nebraska; so check the shows section, lates!

12-1-03 Hey, big show this Saturday at the Bush with AMITY from CA, brookside from NY, and BRAND NEW DISASTER courtesy of Tribunal records. Be there or...miss out!

P.S.- Even though we didn't play, the Blackbox show was kickin' like...somethin that kicks real hard and awesomely, so if ya missed it, sorry...

11-Thanxgiving (27)-03 The Blackbox show is moved to Nick's house and we can't play, but go anyway for lotsa cool bands, incl. those bastards from Ready Nebraska. Stay tuned, b/cause we have an explosion of shows in December. We still have some CD's, but we may not re-order after these run out, so get them t-day!

and for those who don't know, that lucky junkface Brooks got to play guitar with THE ATARIS a week and a half ago, so we hate him out of jealousy now.

11-6-03 Wow, lotsa catchin up to do! First of, we have 2 shows comin up, the biggest one is the BLACK BOX RECORD MILITIA SHOW!!!!!!!!!! on the 29th of November, featuring such acts as Misamerica, Blue Jay Walking, and those stupid crotches that keep harrassing our guestbook that can spontaneously ignite- ready nebraska. Anyways, the show will help raise money for the potential Black Box Record Militia Tour planned for this summer, so please, come out and support us and our fellow militians (except ready nebraska) at the show. We also have one in Stafford on the 16th.

To catch up, we did end up closing the battle of the bands at Hayfield but not as a competitor but a surprise closing act after a dispute over our eligibility to play. So that was cool, and if you haven't noted, We're on backbox! woot! well that's it for now! come to the black box show on the 29th!!! lates!

10-23-03 Once again, there's no show on the 25th, probably not even the hayfield battle on the 27th either, but the CD is out! details on the cancellations later. Oh, BTW, WE GOT 10000 web site hits!!! Holy crap that's awesome!!!

10-18-03 After all of the delays with the album, it only seems fitting that we actually got the copies WAY EARLY!! We have them in our hot little hands, shrink-wrapped to perfection. If you want one, they're $7, and if you don't know how to get one, e-mail us and we'll arrange something! As for the show in Stafford, it couldn't have been more blissfully violent! Curtis ended up with no less than five open wounds on his right hand, Brooks splattered his own blood all over his guitar, Patrick killed a man, and John hyperventalated(sp?) from rocking too hard. Some playa's just can't hack it.

SAD ANNONCEMENT!!! The church wasn't able to put together a show quick enough to do the party on the 25th. Our fault for waiting too long to get it secured. Our next appearance will be the Hayfield Battle of the Bands!!! Come watch us maybe finally win something, or be embarrassed once again!!!

10-8-03 Oh yeah, last minute show this fri in stafford VA, anyone who can make it thatd be awesome, gotta new song if you care to hear! That's it for now, the 25th has not yet been confirmed but we got an awesome lineup when and if it does, so keep that saturday open for now, lates!

10-03-03 The CD is finished, mastered, and in the mail towards the factory to be copied. The initial run of 110 copies will be recieved by the band between the 16th and the 21st of this month. The official release date is undetermined right now, but our tentative CD RELEASE PARTY is at BUSH HILL on the 25th (this may change), but we will make the copies available for purchase as soon as we get them. The price will be seven dollars a copy, well worth it for a full-length (over 40 min) CD. Also, if your band wants to play the party, E-mail us. See you at the party!

9-27-03 hey hey hey, last night's show will be very memorable, we didn't know it when we arrived, but it would be the first RUNSIXBLANK ON ICE! that's right, r6b played on the ice rink last night, it was awesome! curtis even did a lap around the rink while playing entropy! well, that's it for now folks!

9-23-03 Just a reminder that there's FREE ICE SKATING with purchase of ticket to the show on friday, so rock out or get out and ice skate too! Check it out in the shows section.

9-12-03 dudes, this is r6b lettin you know that we got a kickin show comin up on the 26th of september with URBAN STYLE and COMMON EFFECT at mt. vernon rec center, and you get a FREE SKATE RENTAL with purchase of a ticket! it's gonna rock! this show is actually organized by the same group that does providence shows, so if you love those shows be sure to come to this one! more info in the shows section!

8-27-03 Wow, it's been a while, so yeah, exciting news, we wrote another new song yesterday called "neurotica," another long complicated one, but fun to play of course, hope it's fun to hear too! Hope everyone's summers were great! keep it chill everyone!

8-11-03 Yo guys, just wanted to let you know that the pics from the Jaxx Battle for round 2 are now up in the photo section if you click on the link to the albums, thanks again to lisa, she rela rocks! Also, quick fact, there have been so many hits to our site recently that about a week ago our site was temporarily suspended by angelifre, since we're paying nothing for this site, we're only allowed so many visitors at once, so thanks guys for makin us to much for angelfire to handle, you guys are awesome, lates!

8-6-03 Happy Birthday to us! We're now 2 years old! Thanks to everyone who has been there since the beginning, and everyone who has come to find us since then, we love you all!

8-5-03 Well, we're losers again in some peoples eyes, but we couldn't haved asked for a better crowd. Thanx to all who came to Jaxx to see us, and also thanx to those of you who saw us for the first time and liked our set. We're waiting to see what the judges thought, but the response from you guys was overwhelming. Thanks again. Congrats to our homedawgs Common Effect!

8-3-03 Come to the battle tomorrow, at jaxx! we need support from all our friends and fans! sadly, we are once again playing against pals of ours, this time its common effect. So we're ready to just go out there and have a good time rockin ourselves out to the max, and, RELEASE A NEW SONG!!!! so be there!

The show yesterday was awesome! thanks to misamerica (some of the best guys i know) and the blackbox record militia for puttin on the robotron 2.003, and special thanks to geof and chris for building that awesome smoke breathing, eye flashing cardboard robot, that was awesome! all the bands were awesome, it was great to play with some of em again! love ya'll!

7-24-03 Don't forget about AUGUST 4TH, the BATTLE, round 2; but we got another awesome show on August 2nd. An all day music festival with an awesome lineup, be sure to check it out in the shows section.

7-17-03 Awesome news! RunSixBlank is in round TWO of the jaxx BATTLE OF THE BANDS, on August 4th. Patrick is supposed to be on vacation that week but he is staying by himself and then flyin up so that he can play this show, so you better appreciate what he is doing by coming out to the show and supporting runsixblank so that they can move on to round three or just do really well but we'd prefer the first one! so, we hope to see you all there, lotsa stuff goin on behind the scenes that we'll comment on later, but for now, keep it chill.

7-9-03 Dude, the show at the Bush was hardcore awesome, thanks to all who came out and supported the indie scene, thanks also to all the bands, especially Amity from California, for comin out to play. We got a great crowd and the show was really rockin'. The future of R6B is lookin pretty chill for the summer cause we're gonna sit back a bit and lay off the shows for a while (we played a whole lot in june and then on monday) and finish the CD completely and have it ready to go for the unscheduled release party, be sure to look out for that. We also have seven plus new songs lined up to be completed so we got a whole lotta new music headin your way soon. But for now, we're gonna lay quietly and come back hard with all sorts of new stuff. We're also lookin at gettin' a new site now that we're averaging 1,000 hits a month! Be on the lookout for our first album, and we're already planning the second one (lord knows we have enough songs!). Keep it chill ya'll, and keep checin' back for updates, out!

7-3-03 GO TO THE SHOW ON MONDAY at the bush! We got some rockin' bands lined up like WAITING FOR TOMORROW, MISAMERICA, the MISADVENTURES and AMITY! it's only $5 so ya betta be there and get ready to rock out or get out! Hope to see you there! Info in the shows section.

6-29-03 Hey guys, suh? We have pics available from the show on the 25th by clicking here.(the password is password)
The show went awesome, thanks to the turncoats for puttin it on, thanks again to lisa for takin the photos. Just as an update, we played some awesome shows right before the battle. We played in Vienna at the VCC with some awesome bands Waiting for tommorrow and Common Effect. Then, on TUesday the 17th we played a graduation party out in the rain, it was so hardcore, evrything and everyone was soaked, there was even a moon bounced that we slipped on! just tellin' ya bout the cool junk we done.

Also, despite popular belief, the show on july 7th will not be our CD release party because we were unable to finish the graphics with all the shows we've had lately. We still hope to see you there! Chill!

6-21-03 Well the battle of the bands went awesome, we didn't win but it was still a great experience, we got to play with some amazing bands too. Thanks to all that came and supported us, special thanks to lisa for the pics which can be viewed by Clicking Here
, select photos will be in the pics section shortly.

Also don't forget to come on wednesday to see R6B play with the turncoats. If all goes well, the CD release party should be on the 7th of june, i have to go but i'll report back later, keep runsixin', chill!

6-18-03 GO TOMMORROW NIGHT TO JAXX TO SUPPORT R6B IN THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS, info in the shows section. lotsa good stories to tell later, gotta go, chill. P.S.- read the letter in the last news entry.

6-11-03 Read this please, all of it! (click here)

6-8-03 LOSS OF BLOOD wasn't only our opening song, but the theme of friday nights show. So much damage occurred! First off, on the last note of R.M.A., Brooks jumped off of his stack of amps and it crashed to the floor, nearly bustin badly! curtis (with his wireless guitar) jumped into the pit and was repeatedly beaten until he was punched right over his eye in which he collapsed to the ground breaking his strap lock. When he got up a second later, blood had trickled all the way down his chest, he smiled and asked, "What's it look like?" With pink eye in his right eye and bleeding in his right eye, Curtis displayed his wound for photos and then left for the hospital to get stitched up. Bliss then took the stage, they were freakin awesome, definitely check them out. Misamerica finsihed the show as the "Loss of Blood" theme continued when Willie split his finger open under his nail, bleeding, he taped up his finger and used the hanging tape as a pick to finish their crazy set! What a show! If you're lookin for more "Loss of Blood," be sure to check out runsix in the battle of the bands at jaxx on june 19th, info in the shows section! Let it bleed...

5-27-03 Finally! Spring cleaning is over, the site is a lot more organized now in an html way (in other words you guys can't tell but it makes it easier for me to manage). Yeah, so the interact show is moved to june 6th at hayfield elementary because the high school auditorium is under construction, god junk, we play with misamerica again, so you know it's gonna rock. Be there, new pics from Geoff (Misamerica) are comin soon so keep on the lookout, and don't forget to mark your calendars for june 19th, peace.

5-10-03 wow, the show with Misamerica and boldly going nowhere kicked! Thanks to misamerica for settin' up that show, you guys are crazy awesome, thanks to all those r6b fans who came out to see us, and thanks to all the people that had never seen us before for comin' and seein' us! out.

5-7-03 Suh guys? Show this friday, the moose lodge, be there- it's with freakin awesome MISAMERICA- who is releasing some awesome stuff with dischord records, so you know they awesome.

and in case you missed the show, sadly, it was CRAZY AWESOME! not only did BJW, Shermer, and Supergiant MD kick it! but we got an amazing response from the audience- thanks to all that went, you guys made it the best show ever! we all felt so good after playin that show, especially after everybody was jumpin in unison to sometimes things just turn-out..., and fifty billion people shouted "don't tell everyone!" on evol! whew! it was amazing, all cause of you guys, thanks again, cant wait for friday! chill!

4-30-03 This Saturday, MAY 5TH! If your aren't comin' you don't know what you're missin'! Blue Jay Walking has joined the bill now! as well, we wrote a new song on sunday called "the cold shoulder," and the song was mostly written by Curtis, so you know it's gonna be pretty heavy! Just for a hint at what the sh9ow will be like, we had one of the best practices we've ever had on sunday, despite not practicing for 2 months (recording), so we're pretty psyched. Speaking of recording, our 3 song demo from the upcoming debut full-length "JUst don't ask her to marry you" is being released at the show! it won't be mastered on the demo, but it's free and will give you a taste of the new CD, so be sure to be there! Don't forget, the amazing Shermer and Supergiant MD are playing as well. $5- that's a steal!

4-21-03 2 weeks until the may 3rd show! r6b's big comeback with SHERMER and SUPERGIANT MD! we might even be getting a band from NJ to come down and play! Tickets are only $5, show starts at 7! be at the bush hill presbyterian church for this amazing show! check the show section!

also on another note, the info for the Jaxx BATTLE OF THE BANDS is now in the shows section, so be sure to mark your calenders for JUNE 19TH! we need all the support we can get!

CD update: yeah, the recording mechanism fell of the desk and broke, perhaps irrepairably, so it could be a bit longer on the full-length, but don't lose hope! Chill!

3-28-03 NO SHOW ON APRIL 5th, it has been postponed to May 3rd so that we can continue recording our CD which is near finished as far as recording goes (layout is not done yet). We did play a last minute show in Arlington on Saturday with The End Product, it was pretty awesome. We ROCKED OUT for all these people that listened to rap and latino music- what a change for them! Curtis even jumped off this HUGE stack of amps as one of the technicians was running over to stop him. It was crazy! Afterwards, the kids would point at Curt and say, "Aw, that's tha [dude] that jumped off tha amplifias." Pretty awesome.

3-16-03 Ha! Just kidding! We lied. That's not the oreder for the songs on the Cd...because we're adding more! Yes, more songs have been written to add to the second Cd, so we're putting some songs- The Song for Long Goodbyes (full band) and Circle of Mistrust- on the first Cd instead of the second one! So, there's a new order including those 2 more songs. Becasue the new songs are freshly written, the second Cd won't be released until a bit later, but that means more songs on both of them! More for your money! Well, we're out. Chill!

3-11-03 If you have been awaiting the anouncement regarding the discography of our first and upcoming album then your wait is over! Cause now you can finally see what songs in what order will be on the first album in the discography section! This album will feature all of R6B's older songs, and the next album which will be released shortly after will feature R6B's newer songs! 9 of the songs on the first album are completely finished except for vocals, so not too much longer! we just have to get them mastered and pressed! Well, be sure to catch us on april 5th at the church (check the shows section for details!)!

3-10-03 Well, the Edison gig went okay. the place had horrible acoustics, but it was still pretty fun. Thanks to all that came.

3-01-03 Yeah, this friday you can see R6B play 3 cover songs including The Starting Line's cover of J-Lo's "I'm Real" at Edison High School! Check it out in the shows section!

3-01-03 12:33 AM EST, 5,000 hits on this site since july 12th 2002, cool eh? We're impressed. Not a sermon, just a thought...

2-26-03 Woot! New picture section, and the new designs are up for upcoming shirts and hats! How cool? check it out! Recording is going really well, the first album should be out by late spring if everything goes smooth! Chill!

2-23-03 Hey guys, sorry about that, angelfire was dumb and accidentally deleted our index page. well, everything but the old index page is back up now, including the link to our new unfinished site! Well, just in case you missed the last entry into our news, here it is, enjoy!

2-9-03 RunSixBlank had a meeting today and decided that we would release 2 FULL LENGTH CDS! yes, you read right- 2! thats because r6b's small runsixBANK is very much empty and we have not had the money to make a full length despite the fact that we have enough songs for 2 cd's. however, a light shines at the end of the tunnel and it seems as if we will be able to finance 2 cd's, so we will, one will consist of our older songs: worth the wait, the moon that never sets, orion's belt, sometimes, loser, indifference, shamrock, i hope you're happy and by happy i mean on fire, alone, and reason my action. this cd will be called "Just Don't Ask Her To Marry You" since all of the songs (with the exception of loser, that's just a fun song) follow a story line of a relationship. We began recording today and finished worth the wait and orion's belt (the full band version that patrick thought was pretty lame until he heard the recording). Then, while that is being mastered and printed we will begin the work on our second full length which does not yet have a name. it will include: loss of blood, the song for long goodbyes (full band), without a doubt, better safe than sorry, new recordings of june 14th, evol, entropy, and circle of mistrust and 2 never before heard songs: "bunnies, blue skies, and everything else wrong and evil in the world" and "breakdown summers". We have not decided the order of the songs yet, but when we do, you can view the discography on the new runsixSITE! it is almost done and is pretty crazy awesome! well, doesn't that make your day?
