The Managuense
Cichlisoma Managuense (scientitific name). The managuense is one of my favorite cichlids to speak of it's a profile breeder, it's territorial and it's got neat coloration. It's like a golden crappie. I like it's attitude and it's aggressiveness, which is not unlike any of these others but I still like it! This is one of the most hardy fishes I have. Yet, another good starter fish. The Red Terror
Hericthys Festae(scienitific name). This , as far as I know, is not the true re terror but is what most people call the red terror and it's easily distingueshable long body, red coloration, with light or dark stripes. This fishes name says it all. The one we have right now can't be put in with anything else because it's so mean. You have to start these out with other fish their size and let them grow up together or they'll kill everything. I also have experienced this crossng with a jack dempsey, more pictures of that later!
The Curvicep
Aeqidens Curvicep(scientific name). Started out as a weeninie fish for me, not very aggressive, not very territorial and they just hide from everything else, but then one day they breed and they took over well over half of a 75 gallon tank-These fish are only 4 inches long in with 6-8 inch fish, oscars, managuenses, blue acaras. Those 2 little curviceps kept them all in check and they got beautiful shiny colors especially the female, her belly turned all red, they turned out to be the best parents and the best bredding pair of fish I have to date.
