Anne Gannon, Florida Representative from Delray Beach, Florida.

Gannon has been the past President of NOW in Mississippi,

and was a freshman legislator in 2000/2001, the year she filed and got passed the Felony DADS bill.

Many people are questioning her political ties.

Usually freshman representatives do not get such overwhelming support for their filed legislation, nor have it passed unanimously.

Rumor is that she held the Black Caucus “hostage” and threatened to withhold financing for the black districts

if the Caucus did not support her Felony Dads Legislation.

I wrote her several times during the last session as did other members of FCAPF and Florida DADS

expressing her displeasure with the Felony DADS bill.  Here is her e-mail response to me:

Subject: RE: SB0400 1284 0248 1926 2266; HB 0349 0167 1775 1803

Nadine, I have been patient but I do not wish to receive your negative thoughts.  If you have concrete proposals to make the bill better I would

entertain them but I do not care to receive these negative emails any longer. Rep. Gannon

She has also blocked Mark Thompson, DADS of Orlando from sending any e-mails.

She seems to be taking her cue from Larry Crow, Chair of the Judicial Oversight Committee

Read the emails

Gannon and Crow blocking e-mails?

Message #2, Gannon blocking e-mail

Message #3, Gannon blocking e-mails

Anne Gannon is an elected Representative of the State of Florida who does not want to hear from

registered Florida voters if their ideas do not match hers.

She needs to be voted out of office when her term is finished.

It would be nice if she could be impeached and removed from office immediately

for being derelict in her duty.
