Lawns

  • Expedite the planting of fescue lawns .
  • Fertilize & lime fescue lawns.
  • Apply Sta-Green Nursery Special on shrubs.
  • Plant annual rye.
  • Water lawns during dry periods.

Shrubs

  • Plant container grown shrubs.
  • Mulch plants to retain moisture.
  • Apply winter conditioning fertilizer to bermuda and zoysia lawns.
  • Water as needed.
  • Shrubs for screening; Eleagnus, Cleyera, Leyland Cypress, Nellie Stevens Holly.
  • Control insects & diseases of roses and remove spent blooms

Trees

  • Plant container grown trees.
  • Trees for fall color; Dogwoods, Red Maple, Sugar Maple, Ginko, Crepe Myrtle, Flowering Pear, Red Oak, Hickory, River Birch.
