Well I really like the GameCube console because it is very small. I
can carry it around very easily because it has a handle. The handle
makes it easy for me to transport it to the big screen TV on my living
room. I got the black version because it just looked cooler.
The GameCube comes in five colors. The games being produced for this
console are top notch. Nintendo is the company that started the
videogame revolution years ago and has stayed in business for over a
decade. The GameCube is very small and the discs are also small. When I first saw the GameCube discs I thought they were really tiny but that doesn't stop them from giving great games. It's too bad that this little discs are not able to hold as much information as the DVD that Playstation 2 and X-box use. The good thing about the little discs is that they are much cheaper to make even though the GameCube games still cost the same as the X-box or PS2 games. The graphics on the GameCube are much better than the ones in the Playstation 2 but the X-box has slightly better graphics. The GameCube has lots of accessories that range from a portable screen that adds on to the top of the cube to a battery pack so you can take it on the road. Perhaps the best thing about GameCube is that it can be linked with the Gameboy Advance and it can be used as a controller for some games. The link with the Gameboy advance provides many features in the game that were not previously available. The console is currently selling at a price of $149.99 which makes it the console of choice for those without the cash to buy the more expensive ones. The GameCube is also great because it has four controller ports instead of two and space for two memory cards which hold a lot of information. It also has ports on two ports on the bottoms. One of those ports is going to be used for a modem or broadband adaptor and the other one is still experimental. Online gaming should come to the GameCube by the release of the videogame Phantasy Star in the United States. Nintendo has already released plans for it. GameCube is all about gaming without the ability to play DVD's, CD's or MP3's. Don't let the lower price fool you into thinking it is a pushover. It actually is a better gaming machine than the Playstation 2 in terms of hardware. I really hope that the games go trough a price cut since they are really smaller than the ones for PS2 and X-box. If there is a price cut on games this would be the number one console in the market. I would recommend you to buy this console if you want fun to play games that are simple and entertaining at the same time. Also if you want to play cute characters such as Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and many others. The future for this videogame console looks good. Amazon.com is selling some bundle packs and I would say that the one that comes with the "Super Smash Bros. Melee" is the best buy for now.
