The joke around the Titanic set in Rosarito Beach: "Hey Jim (Cameron), can we have July 1 off so
we can see the movie?" which is scheduled to open July 2. Jokes aside, the epic may be completing
principal photography this weekend.
Young Danny Nucci, playing Leonardo DiCaprio's best pal and cabin mate (in third class) on board
gets back in time for the opening of That Old Feeling and DiCaprio in time to start The Man in the
Iron Mask. Seriously, young Nucci, (Eraser and The Rock co-star) says the making of the movie
has been an amazing experience. "And no acting was necessary in the scenes in which the ship sinks
-- it was real!" He also credits Cameron's talents in the personal stories -- such as tender moments
between lovers DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

a special R&j on mtv europe. I suppose this is the same that
you see on US. at the end of the special, claire, dicaprio,
and
Luhrmann have a little discuss with some high school student about the
movie....
Yeah, the show was hosted by this old dude we see in each US interview
on MTV Europe (Chris something). The discussion was basically about
why the film was taking place nowadays, well because Shakespeare is
sooo modern, dear. The interventions of the students sucked IMO, not
because they were stupid, but they were not natural. It looked like a
civic campaign, but for cultural stuff. MTV at its worst.
DiCaprio was, well DiCaprio. Lurhman was overexcited and selling his
movie.
Claire Danes didn't talk too much, but at one moment she said how our generation
was sacrificed and although this kind of common-place is generally
boring, she was touching. I hadn't seen her speaking since MSCL and
it's weird because she really looks like Angela. There's some kind of
contrast in her personality. She seems to say "I want to have some
fun" and in the same time "I have to carry the pain of the world".
Weird chick ;-)

According to the Internet Movie Database, a "goof" in R&J (1996) was
at the party when Romeo turns around to face Capulet and his mask moves
up and down on his face.

In the May issue of 16 Magazine, in the Q&A section,
a girl from
Pennsylvania writes: "Does Leo
date girls 4 years younger than he is?"
the answer: "Leo doesn't put age restrictions on his dates, he went
out
with Bijou Phillips when she was 16 years old."
Has anyone noticed an movie mistakes in the 1996 or 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet?
In the movie Romeo and Juliet ('68)
when Juliet is "dead" and laid out outside of the tomb,
Lady Capulet (her mother) places 3 red roses between her hands.
Then, a transparent sheet is placed over the body and some
fine ladies of Verona throw more red roses on her.
But, when Romeo comes and visits Juliet, she does not
have the roses in her hands nor are there any roses left on the
top of the transparent sheet.

The introduction of Romeo and Juliet 1968
by Ali MacGraw when the movie was shown on AMC (American Movie Classics) a while ago. The viewing of the movie was sponsored by Waldenbooks, your best source for romance novels. The text is almost word for word.
"Ask people to give an example of a romance classic, and most will answer with, Romeo and Juliet.
Even origins of the story are romantic,
wandering minstrels in Medevial Europe sang about the
star-crossed lovers two centuries before Shakespeare wrote it down.
With all the movie versions, this is the truest to Shakespeare's play. This was the first time the doomed teenagers were played by teenagers.
Usually, most older actors played the parts like 36 year old Norman Sheer (sp?) opposite 43 year old, Leslie Howard.
The play is about the volatile pressures of youth. Zerfferelli deftly (sp?) turned Shakespeare's prose into the poetry of love. This is the first version to show Romeo and Juliet naked on their wedding night.
The entire film is gorgeous. Small wonder the picture won Oscars for costume design and cinematography.
Zerfferelli studies architecture in college and used Italy's renaissance masterworks as supporting players.
The famed balcony scene was shot at the palace built by Cardinal Bourges (or Borgasie) in the 16th century.
Capulet's homes was built by Pope Pius the 2nd in the 1460 and Friar Lawrence's church is actually the church of San Pietro, a national monument.
An now the international treasure, Franco Zerfferelli's Romeo and Juliet."

Camelot Music email me a few days ago answering one of my questions.">here.
My question was to them, "When is the Romeo and Juliet Volume II CD coming out?" They said that it will be out on April 14th, 1997.
Does anyone know why Claire broke up with Matt Damon?
I (B) would just like to say that a person emailed me last ngiht asking me to send them a picture of the "heart" in Romeo and Juliet because they wanted it tattooed on their body.
I believe Leo broke up with Kristine Zang soon
after the R+J premiere (I got that from the R+J fanclub by
Courtney) and while watching the Gossip Show on E! found out that
Claire DUMPED her Rainmaker co-star Matt Damon on Feb. 13, before
V-day. This means BOTH LEO+CLAIRE ARE CURRENTLY SINGLE!!! I just
didn't know if you received this info yet. Also, do you know where
the EI Awards will be announced? Like is it on TV on ABC, or where
on the Internet? All I know is that the results are on March 14.

The Romeo and Juliet video will definitely be more expensive. It's going
to be priced for rental which means it should cost between $70-$100. I
don't know why they're doing this since the movie was popular. It will
be a few months before the video is brought down to normal price. They
did the same thing with Clueless when it came out on video.

A preview of Romeo and Juliet can be seen on the new video that just came out to stores, That Thing You Do.

in an interview in this week's TV Guide - the "King of All Media", Howard
Stern, says "I love MY SO-CALLED LIFE"!" Information compiled by this wonderful Claire Danes site
) "Also, Meryl Streep
was the mystery guest on The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Although she didn't
get to talk about working with Leonardo, the clip that Rosie showed from
Marvin's Room was the scene where Hank's mom comes to get him out
of the institution and tell him about Aunt Bessie."
Information comiled by this site who still has not added a link to my site because I think that they are afraid of the competition.
A good summary of how Leonardo is in The National Enquirer - There's a big headline on the cover with a small pic of him but it had plenty o' pics inside. It's this stupid story of how he spent the night at Demi Moore's house(it's true but it was only for a screen test for a movie;)). It has some good pics-like how he dresses normally.
