This is Todd on the edge of returning to his darkest days, the black evil place in his soul. He is ice cold, menacing, and brutal, he is on the brink. I remember seeing this live and thinking oh my god, he’s going to.....I held my breath, he had come so far and yet his demons still lived in him. This of course is the Todd we all knew at the beginning, the one RH created so masterfully. The scene takes place after he has talked with Marty about finding about Blair faking the pregnancy to marry him for his money.
She was able to calm him and make him think about forgiving her. But all that flies out the window when he comes home to find Blair and Cord in an embrace, meaningless of course, but he doesn’t believe that, and he is in a rage. Since Cord will not leave while he is like this, Todd leaves. Later on after Cord has left the penthouse this is where the scene begins.
BLAIR: (she comes down the stairs and sees the front door open and goes to close it)
I thought Cord closed that when he left. (as she closes the door we see Todd standing behind it. He rattles his keys to get her attention, she gasps and freezes not looking at him) Oh, god!
TODD: Just me and you, babe!
Scene break
TODD: Remember that little talk that your lover Cord said we couldn’t have, well we’re going to have it right now.
BLAIR: (she crosses into the living room, trying in her voice to act nonchalant) Todd, you are so wrong about Cord.
TODD: Am I?
BLAIR: Yes! That was a thank you hug that you saw. He was telling me that no matter what.....he helped me see that no matter what happened between you and me, that...that I love you. (she is trying to touch him, he will not let her) Todd I love you and not him, you.
TODD: That’s great. That’s really good to know (crossing away, his back to her) just like it’s good to know that my kid was on the way it was the right thing to do to marry his mother.
BLAIR: Todd I know you feel so betrayed right now, if you would just listen to me...
TODD: Just like it was good to know that we were ALWAYS HONEST with each other.
BLAIR: We can make this work, we can....we can!
TODD: We can’t work this out! (turns to her)
You’re a lying whore. You whored yourself to get your hands on my money, (intensely angry) you have lied to me from the get-go just like your are lying to me now!
BLAIR: (he does not look her in the eye during this) No! Todd, that is not true! I love you! Okay, yeah, I lied about being pregnant but I am not sorry that I did, cause it means that we got together and I got to know the real you. Oh Todd, think about all those good times that we had and how we loved having made it. Todd, and I meant it the other night when I said I wanted to have another baby with you, I meant that, doesn’t that mean something? Oh Todd, after everything we’ve gone through together, please don’t let this last chance slip away. We can have a future together, I know that we can! (slowly he looks at her)
Scene break
BLAIR: (his face is a little softer with his back to her) I don’t want to lose you. Really it’s not about the money. (phone rings) It’s not about any of this stuff, it’s about us, you and me, Todd. We have a chance to have it all! We could have it all. (the answering machine picks up, it is Blair’s lawyer. Blair tries to stop the tape but Todd crouches down to the machine and grabs her hand and holds it away from the machine while the message plays)
CHET SIMMS: Hello Blair, it’s Chet Simms. Listen, I have all the information you requested on how to transfer as much money as possible into separate accounts. Retaining sole ownership of Melador could be a problem, but it’s definitely doable. Also, some of the other holdings are possibilities. So, give me a call and we’ll discuss your legal options.
TODD: (rises slowly still holding her arm and holds it high above her head) You are good! Oh, yeah, you are real good. (yanks her arm very angry) I can’t believe I was so stupid, you’re just a lying little slut.
BLAIR: (crying) No, Todd please.....
TODD: You have been lying to me from day one. (suddenly it dawns on him, he drops her arm and backs away from her) Oh my god! (his mouth open) Haaah! I can’t believe I was this blind.
BLAIR: (whispers) What?
TODD: You’ve been sleeping with Cord the whole time, haven’t you?
BLAIR: (shocked) No! That is a lie! Nooo!
TODD: You guys just gonna run away so you could just take all my money?
BLAIR: No, please! That’s not the truth! No, Todd, please! (she is sobbing out of control and grabs him and slowly lowering herself down his body till she is kneeling at his feet and clutches her arms around her knees) Don’t, don’t do this!! (sobbing & begging)

TODD: (camera angle is from the ground looking at him from Blair’s view, he is cold and menacing) You’re disgusting when you beg. You’re disgusting period!
BLAIR: (camera angle from Todd’s view looking down on her) Oh, god!
TODD: Get up!
BLAIR: No, Todd.....oh! (she slow rises from the floor terrified)
TODD: (his eyes and voice are pure ice) You have no idea how much I hate you. You have messed up my life bad. I can’t believe how stupid I was. I fell in love with you, I wanted to give you everything. You know, the one person who was right about you was Max Holden. You don’t care about anybody but yourself, you will do anything, you’ll run anybody over, eat anybody alive who gets in your way. You make me sick. Now get out of my house, get out of my life, you hear me? Go on, get out! (tears stream down her face)
Scene break
BLAIR: You’re just angry, you don’t even know what you’re saying.
TODD: No, I know who you are, I know what you are and I want you gone right now!
BLAIR: No, you’re wrong about me.
TODD: (moving towards her) You didn’t lie about the baby? You didn’t pretend to be pregnant to get me to marry you, huh?
BLAIR: Yes, I admitted that....
TODD: You didn’t keep lying so you could get your hands on my money. And the whole time you were milking me, you were sleeping with Cord!
BLAIR: No, I swear to you I wasn’t. He was being a friend!
TODD: (very angry) I saw you in his arms right here! No, that is it! I have had enough of your lies, you’re not gonna make a chump out of me anymore. (pushing her backwards towards the door and she continues to cry NO) Now get out!!
