Illinois 10 is a substantial highway running from Champaign westward to the Clinton area, then to Lincoln and terminating not far westward at US136 , near the IL-29 corridor.

Intersections from east to west:

US150 at Champaign

IL47 about 6 miles south of Mahomet or 1 mile east of Seymour

I-72 near White Heath

IL48 by Weldon

IL54 East at Clinton (begins a multiplex with that route)

Business US51 at Clinton

IL54 West at Clinton (end multiplex)

US51 a mile west of Clinton

IL121 (begin multiplex) Business I-55

I-55 (IL121 ends here)

IL29 by Mason City

US136 4 miles north of Easton.

It passes through these towns: Champaign, Seymour, DeLand, Weldon, Clinton, Hallsville, Lincoln, New Holland, Mason City, Easton.

Notable places: Railsplitter State Park in Lincoln is only 2 miles south of Route 10.

Only a mile south of Route 10 just east of Clinton lies Weldon Springs State Park. From that vicinity westward a few miles, you can see Clinton Lake from the road. For more on Clinton Lake see Illinois Route 54.
