Crater Lake Staff Experience

Tucked in the shadow of Fowler Mesa, near the Fowler Pass, Crater Lake is a well visited camp at Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron, New Mexico.

The Summer of '96 was one of the best experiences of my life!  Four other guys and I lived out in a cabin in the middle of the woods and played with sharp stuff!  The best part of it was - we got PAID for it!  So, this is my long overdue tribute to Crater Lake - especially the gang from '96 (Andy, Ron, Karl, and John ).
