Summary:

Provided desktop procurement, management, deployment and training for several different business applications and their customers. This entailed working closely with the vendor of the business application chosen by the customer and ensuring that the application worked with the standard desktop applications that were already in place. Worked on several different projects at once, with each project having anywhere from 10 to 30 desktops and/or printers that were to be configured and deployed for each project. The majority of this experience was in the health care industry and included departments such as Pharmacy, Radiology, and Laboratory.

Knowledgeable of network protocols such as TCP/IP, IPX, IP, and NETBEUI. Also knowledgeable of Novell,NT, Windows 95/98, DOS, Lotus Applications, Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Front Page and HTML, Java script, java applets, as well as several different remote dial in applications and e-mail applications.

Familiar with RUMBA, IRMA, PCANYWHERE and other applications that provide connectivity to various systems platforms. Familiar with uploading and downloading files to/from P.C./Host. Familiar with MSFrontPage to create web pages that include forms, animated GIF's, hyperlinks on a departmental web page. Maintain Novell, NT, Exchange Server, and Citrix user accounts. Working knowledge of recovering network data files. Familiar with the differences between Novell and NT. Familiar with Essbase and Wired.

Assisted customers in these above applications (in some cases, providing documentation) as well as maintained an internal department web page for various departments. Also detailed about describing a process on paper for I.T. contemporaries for future reference.

Well versed with laptops as well as desktops and the network cards available for each. Provided time-line charts and budget information to management to indicate the progress of desktop configurations and deployments. Provided reports from Crystal Reports.
