Conversion of St. Paul

The Conversion of St. Paul is an odd painting when you first look at it. At first glance, it appears to be a painting in which a man is lying on the ground staring up at the sky who has a horse standing above him. Upon further review, I found that St. Paul has fallen off of his horse because he has been blinded by the light of God shown to him. Although he has fallen off of his house, he seems to have landed on a grand Persian carpet that has been beautifully designed showing the gifts bestowed upon him now as he has been graces by God's presence. This painting has been known to be center of religious and psychological transformation. Next Picture
