Ten Year Scar is a passionate hardcore/metal five-piece with members from both Winchester, VA, and Martinsburg, WV. Rusty and Travis are former members of Strength of One, Terrance has played with early Squeektoy and Circus of Hate.

Ten Year Scar first formed a little over a year ago as a four piece band, and later evolved to a five-piece with the addition of Jeff Dove on guitar. They have played shows in Baltimore and Cumberland, Hagerstown, Martinsburg, Berryville and Front Royal, with more shows in the works.

All the guys in Ten Year Scar are dedicated lovers and creators of music, with influences ranging from Primus, Madball, the Misfits, Lamb of God, Pantera, Metallica and Terror, just to name a very few. All of thier individual influences have merged and affected thier styles, to create a hardcore metal sound all of thier own, with blistering and unique vocals, a solid wall of guitar, rumbling bass slaps and manic drumbeats. Thier music contains no politics or messages, just straight-up, heartfelt and passionate hardcore.

Ten Year Scar had enjoyed playing for some really responsive and supportive audiences who have really shown alot of love for the music they play, and for the local music scene in general, and have met some great people in the past year...thanks to all of you for the endless support and love!
