The 1835 census lists him at Ladekop #24, and says he moved to Schoensee in
1848. The census says he was married to a "Maria," but other records say his
wife, and the mother of son Jakob, was a Katharina Harder. I am assuming that
the Maria, listed as his wife in the 1835 census, must have been a second
wife.
