The End of the Era
The Halloween Foosball World is still reeling from the shocking and disappointing news that The Legendary Chuck; Allen will not be able to attend this year's Halloween Foosball Tournament. ;
Because Chuck has just started a new job working at some unnamed hotel, and with the fact that the 27th will be only the second day of his career, Chuck believes if he skips work he will be fired.
One thing is for sure, Chuck is making a big mistake leaving the Halloween Foosball Community that appreciates him. The Legendary Chuck will never be fired from foosball!
A look back at the legacy of the Legendary Chuck:
In 1996, Chuck was part of the original Halloween Foosball Tournament. He lost in the first round to Jim. In 1997, Chuck won his first game, and lost his first game in a set of 3 against Greg. Chuck beat Paul Gendron. Also in 1997, Chuck's sister Sara kicked Greg's ass in an exhibition match. In 1998, Chuck was upset by the mysterious Dale. Dale who would later lose a match and lose his smile, beat Chuck despite Chuck's legendary status. In 1999, the title of Legendary Chuck was bestowed upon him. That year, he cemented his legendary status by coming back from a 4-0 deficit and beating Keith. Then he lost to Greg. And last year, Chuck once again beat Keith and lost to Greg.
Alas, 2001 likely won't see Chuck continue his legendary career. Due to a scheduling conflict, the only action the Legendary Chuck will see is the Online Foosball Tournament.
Worry not TLC fans, The Legend will continue in 2002!!!
