PowerCell is a high energy Seattle based Rock and Roll band featuring members from Paul Rodgers' solo band (lead vocalist of Bad Company, Free, The Firm and Queen) and Seattle's Magic Bus and Spike & The Impalers.
PowerCell was formed by Joe Shikany and Lynn Sorensen...two Seattle music scene veterans that   have toured the world with Paul Rodgers. As members of Magic Bus, Joe and Lynn traveled throughout the U.S. playing many functions for Major League Baseball and have been a top Seattle retro-rock band since 1992, headlining virtually every major nightclub, festival, and venue in the region.

Lynn Sorensen--Bass,  Violin and Vocals
Lynn is currently the bass player for Paul Rodgers,  Magic Bus,  Spike and The Impalers and lead vocalist/violinist of Sex and Violins.  Lynn's lead vocal power  is  truly amazing...singing songs by AC-DC and Led Zeppelin with ease and confidence.  His outstanding musicianship has earned him accolades among his peers and has kept him very  busy with several top bands.

Joe Shikany--Guitar,  Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Having been lead guitarist for rock legend Paul Rodgers and currently in Seattle's Magic Bus, Spike and The Impalers,   and several other Northwest bands, Joe knows how to rock.  A northwest guitar icon, Joe has worked with many  of  the Northwest's  top artists including Bighorn,  Kenny G, Shyanne, The Machine, Shots, Rail, and The Rodger Fisher band. Joe shares lead vocal duties with   Lynn  and Fred  in PowerCell and together, these top notch performers know how to please a crowd!

Fred Holzman--Drums and Vocals
Powercell's  drummer, Fred Holzman, is in huge demand for his drumming, his lead singing and outrageous performance. He also works with Seattle bands, The Davanos and N'Sane and has been featured on the cover of The Seattle Weekly. Fred's solid drumming and singing is the backbone of the PowerCell experience that leaves everyone including club owner's screaming   RIGHT ON!
