These are images of our prototype chassis with front and rear fairings removed.

I have used this prototype as a test bed for the overall design of the production version and to test some innovations such as my power assist system and aerodynamics of various fairings.

The frame is made from 47mm diameter aluminium tube, TiG welded as well as bonded joints, we have found this to be a very light but stiff frame. Handling is very stable and predictable even on two wheels!

For the pre-production prototype I plan to incorporate -

• Shock absorbtion on all three wheels
• New kingpin and axle design (to accomodate front brakes)
• Increase tube diameter to 50.8mm
• Front drum brakes
• New design front and rear fairings
• 20" wheels all round, narrower lighter tyres & rims
• Lower seat height to 200mm, decrease wheelbase slightly
• Sachs 3x8 rear hub = 24 speeds (currently only 14)
