It hasn't been easy for him,
It's been uphill all the way;
But I can watch him proudly,
For now he will graduate.

He has fought many problems,
We've tried so many things;
Some ideas have often failed,
But when it works, he sings.

He had to change schools,
He had to learn new rules;
He worked with his teachers,
To his antics, we were no fools.

He has worked mighty hard,
Given it his heart and soul;
But he holds his head high,
He's now on the honor roll.

So, when he gets that diploma,
His whole family will cheer;
We all love this boy,
He has worked to get here.
