Short and feisty is my girl,
She's filled with love and compassion;
She has a temper seldom shown,
She has her own style of fashion.

Debbie has suffered in the past,
It's made her strong to the core;
She's had love that didn't last,
It's left her yearning for more.

Now she's found the love of her life,
With him she will always stay;
Deb has had many rough times,
But now she's found her way.

She loves her children,
And, to them is mighty good;
She gives them all her love,
She'd give all they wanted if she could.

Her days are busy, with work and home,
She runs her children here and there;
Someday they will be grown and gone,
Of this she is very much aware.

Debbie is my baby girl,
And a fine woman she's grown to be;
She may not be perfect in every way,
But she's very close--just ask me.

This Book

Debbie is my baby girl. In fact, she was the baby of the family for 14 years until her brother, Joe, came along. During her teen years, I was very concerned about what was going to happen with Debbie. She has made some bad choices in her lifetime but she has also learned from them becoming much wiser and much stronger. She has a deep faith in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I believe that has gotten her through many tough times in her life. Debbie is always busy, buzzing around like a little bee. She may be in her thirties now, but she will always be my baby girl.
