ELECTION DAY

The upcoming election
Has me in a tizzy;
All of the lies they speak
Are making me dizzy.

So I will beg of my Lord
I'll ask Him to guide me;
The right man will win
Just you wait and see.

It is such a privilege
To be able to vote;
It's not an easy task,
You can't do it by rote.

But I will pray as I go
That my vote will be right;
the Lord will guide my hand,
We'll know results that night.

I pray our leader will be strong,
And lead us the right way;
So I can be quite happy
We have election day.

I pray our country
Will return to God
After all He formed us
And set us on this sod.

Election Day all over
Is brimming with stress;
But the Lord will lead
If we give Him our distress.
