 Today is a good day,
It's a good day to be alive;
The day has been busy,
As bees around a hive.
I've shared the love of family,
We laughed and played some games;
I'd tell you who they were,
But you wouldn't know their names.
Today we worshipped God,
The Maker of this day;
I've found my days are good,
When I live them in His way.
I'm tired but filled with peace,
As the day comes to an end;
It's a good day to be alive,
When my soul I can attend.
I pray this day was good for you,
I pray my Savior you have found;
It's a good day to be alive,
When by God's love you are bound.
