It is only January
And it's bitter cold;
If you listen to the weather,
It will once again snow.

But I'm looking for sunshine,
I'm hungry for spring;
Gentle warm breezes blow,
And make the chimes sing.

So this is my heart song,
Let winter go quickly;
Let the sun shine warm,
And cure all the sickly.

Let roses bloom
Yellow, pink and red;
Let daffodils dance
With tulips in the bed.

Let gentle rains,
Clean the earth once more;
And let God heal our souls
That are tired and worn.

This is my heart song,
Let spring in the door;
So we can romp and play,
In the fresh air once more.
