God sends His light,
To help you find your way;
As you struggle through this life,
Each and every day.

He will guide each step you take,
If only you ask His aid;
He loves you so very much,
By Him you were made.

His light will keep away the dark,
Your path you will see;
His hand will guide you firmly,
He will hear your longing plea.

Each day will bring its sorrow,
But with it good times, too;
He gives a shoulder to lean on,
Someone to cheer with you.

So search for His light,
It isn't hard to find;
It dwells within your heart,
When obedient and kind.
