My son has grown up,
He is now a young man;
And in these past days,
He has earned a new fan.

I always knew he was loving,
Always willing to give;
But as I've had a need,
He's shown a way to live.

He gives with such love,
He's so willing to serve;
So how did a mom as I,
Get this boy I don't deserve.



My boy has been good to me,
During my time of need;
He may not be perfect,
But God gave me a good seed.



He will serve His Lord,
In his own loving way;
And all will respect him,
As he serves each day.



My boy has grown to be a man,
And he is finding his gift;
He's a style of love and hope,
He'll give many a lift.

 

As many of you know, my son, Joe, was born
late in life and is now 20 years old. While I have
been laid up, he has been an angel. He has shown
that he truly has a gift for taking care of people.
