It crashes down on us,
Like waves from the deep;
Into our hearts and souls,
Its immensity will seep.

It refreshes our souls,
And gives our hearts new life;
It soothes us when we are hurting,
It sees us through our strife.

The beauty of it is amazing,
Its purity is unbelievable;
Our hopes and our dreams,
We now see as achievable.

There are wonders in the deep,
We have never before seen;
We find this so surprising,
For we know we're unclean.

Yes, God's love is like an ocean,
So strong and so massive;
But His love for us sinners,
Is nothing that is passive.

When I meditate on His love,
And how He cares for me;
It's then that I know in my heart,
Someday His face I will see.
