Peaceful moments are hard to find,
But I like to spend them with You;
My God, You are always near,
Even though our moments are few.

Life is often crazy and fast,
But those slow moments of peace,
The ones that I can spend with You,
Give my life a new lease.

The world of ours is always loud,
So peaceful moments of solitude
Are hard to come by each day;
Our moments together are too few.

I sometimes find them on the porch,
As I watch Your birds fly and feed;
They remind me of Your beauty,
Quiet moments are a seed.

Peaceful moments spent with You,
Give me strength for the day;
At this time You show Your love,
And then You show me Your way.

So Lord, grant me peaceful moments,
To spend with You in time;
Moments like these are so grand,
These moments are always sublime.
