Take time to smell the flowers,
On the road of life you take;
For life is filled with many weeds,
And flowers are icing on the cake.

Slow down the pace of your crazy life,
So God's beauty you can see;
Trees reach up to Him in praise,
Beautiful sunsets come to you free.

Take time to sit and contemplate,
All the wonders in this world;
Life is often far too short,
The flag of death is then unfurled.

Take time to say, "I love you,"
To all those for whom you care;
Tomorrow may not give a chance,
Another day you may not share.

Take time to smell the flowers,
Their scent is oh so sweet;
Share yourself with those loved,
Your life on earth will be so neat.
