The words on these pages,
Come straight from my heart;
But only my Jesus,
Can give me the start.

He gives me a thought,
That whirls round and round;
And before I know it,
All the words I have found.

My words tell of love,
For family and Savior;
They speak of my friends,
Or my son's behavior.

My words tell of Jesus,
How grace saved us all;
They may even express,
My sadness at a fall.

Words from my heart,
Are never written lightly;
So keep them in mind,
Hang on to them tightly.

My words give insight
To the person I be;
If you read carefully,
You will soon know me.
