Music director for The Temptations
Welcome to the "official" website of Al McKenzie. As music director and keyboard player for The Temptations, Al McKenzie offers his wide-ranging experience and innate talent to promote and enhance the close soul harmonies and fancy footwork of one of Motown’s legends. Al’s work not only includes the fast-paced tour schedule that takes the group from Hong Kong, to Great Britian and throughout the United States but he also lends his collaboration with the Temptations on their grammy award-winning album “Ear-Resistible” and their 59th CD entitled "Awesome". In addition to his work as music director and keyboard player, Al has found the time to write and record his CD entitled, “Is it love” The CD features a mixture of smooth instrumental and vocal jazz and sensual rhythm and blues.
