| In
the year 1993, the Ultrasonics were separated for 3 years when we each went
to different secondary schools to pursue our education...We did try to
continue our regular basketball sessions on Sundays, but it became fewer and
fewer...
Gerald went to Tanjong Katong Secondary... Adrian to St. Patrick's... Kang & Wulong to Chung Cheng High... Elden to Chung Cheng Branch... And myself to Anglo-Chinese School... |

"Today I was at the ol' b-ball court at Marine Parade, and i sat down to watch some guys play b-ball for a while. It was those same guys, if you all still remember,those 'kids' we used to thrash...that loud mouth kid,the two brothers...etc...probably you don't. Never mind. But i was just thinking, those guys reminded me of us,back then,when we were their age...i dunno, maybe 15,16. Remember,every sat/sun, 8 am...what happened to those days,man? still remember,kang ? 5am and that guy who came down to tell us off. A,i haven't settle with u on who's No.1,man...hehe moey,ediot fool...dribble dribble only. wulong...sharpshooter meh ? stupid teik, hide under the basket,dun wanna move; nick, *oww* keep elbowing me! what i'm thinking is...can it be that we won't be able to live those times anymore ? Now it has become food,movies,CS and blah...i dun deny that i enjoy those activities but i wonder if any of us still remember the energy,enthusiasm and youthfulness of our long gone b-ball days ?? a kind of togetherness...all the sweat and effort to outdo each other. it wuz b-ball that brought us together..wasn't it ? oh i'm crapping now...but...i being myself, i couldn't help but say it out...i miss those days...i really miss 'em."
