at these shows I had a new limited edition demo CD called "best of mummycurse". This CD is very limited (35) and very silly best of a band that only has one release out, and a second release thats been in the works for a year. it has 6 songs, 2 from the first demo, 3 from the (upcoming) split demo with mosegiganticus, and one exclusive track. It also features individualy hand painted disk tops by Eleni.

ok, so I've played a few shows in 2001, a few at the killtime, one at 420 fest at swarthmore college (alot of fun), one at garlic house (cd release show), and a trip with mosegiganticus called the schemes and dreams tour, where we played something like 10 shows in one day driving from philly to the 2001 anarchist book fair in baltimore, we played every rest stop on the way and way back and played a set right outfront of the book fair while everyone was leaving for the march. All of these shows were a ton of fun, but they seem like a hundred years ago. Im hoping to get back into doing mummycurse. I look forward to having some new material and doing some traveling. The next (double sided) split with mosegiganticus will mostly be stuff from over a year ago, but after thats out and before I really get into playing Im hoping to have alot of new material.

this was supposed to be thast robot house show, but those fucking pancakes ruined it. my first set, I was quite embarressed. I played Taste My Blood, Division and Cheeze Grater. after cheese grater matt held phil down and james tooka picture of me holding my $tore cheese grater to his tatoo
